Family friendly
Friendly and helpful staff; Indoor pool family access and child play. However, I find it very inconvenient that child play/carr is not available from 1 to 3:30 pm.
I like this Y a lot. I wish that it offered towels for the pool/locker room and hand towels for working out. Other wise it’s a great location and the employees are wonderful.
Just tried a yoga class & it was lovely
Especially like the group exercises including yoga and Zumba gold.

I have not participated in any activities or programs yet. I just came there and worked out in the weight training area.

I really like to go to the YMCA. It helps my body to come back in good shape without using some medicines. I like the group exercises that motivate me to exercise because I enjoy meeting people (the instructors are very nice and the participants are friendly too) and they motivate me to do more than I would have done by myself since it would be too embarrassing to quit before the end of the group exercise.
I am only sorry that, with my working schedules, I cannot participate more. At least, I enjoy coming swimming in the lap lane (if one is available) when I cannot participate to group exercises.
To improve your YMCA, I wish that you could organize a preparation to the Senior DeKalb Olympics as a group exercise and also to have, in your email newsletter, some tips for the well being of your participants. As example, the first year I went to the YMCA, after six months, I went to the hospital. I learned that I did not have enough sodium in my body. My neighbor explained to me that, since I was going (at that time) daily to the Y, my muscles were using my sodium and I should have eaten more of it in my diet. I started to drink some "Powerade zero" since that time.
