I love the senior fitness class

Ginny has a very good yoga class.
I use the cardiovascular equipment, weights and attend an evening Pilates class once or twice a week. The Pilates classes are my favorite which I try not to miss, if I’m in town. The instructors, Elizabeth D, Rebecca R and Emily I are great. They are each heavily vested in the participants getting the most out of each session and ensuring continual progress without injury!
Love Townlake Y and all the cheerful, welcoming employees !
I swim 3X/wk
My sisters and I learned to swim at Houston Eastend Y 65 years ago!
I later became a lifeguard and swimming instructor!
So great to see all the swim programs and enthusiastic instructors with happy little tadpoles and minnows
I do miss Juan, but Octavio is doing a great job Drew does a fantastic job cleaning the pool
There great
I attend Senior Strong 3X weekly. Becky and Laurie are fantastic and have high expectations for us, while always accommodating those with restrictions. I count on getting a bit of cardio, with significant resistance, balance and core. All of which experts recommend for seniors at least 3X weekly.
Subs don’t always have the same high expectations.
Friendly and immaculately well maintained
I like that there is a variety of activities and classes for a decent price. YMCA offers the same variety as luxury gyms that cost five times more.
I LOVE Michael’s body pump class! He’s kind in his motivation and very fun!
They gym has great machines that are fun to use. It does get somewhat crowded at times.
The pool is great. I just use the pool and some machines on the main floor.
I like the variety of types of classes.
I like that you have classes for all ages.
I like the equipment for strength training.
I like the ease of check in with the key tag.
I like the temperature.
I like that there is usually parking available.
I like that you can just show up to any class.
I like the Pilates, yoga and Barre classes. Most of all, I feel like the Y is a welcoming community.
Variety and inclusiveness of all age groups.
There is always something for everyone
The wide variety, fun and experienced instructors, classes are part of your monthly fee
There is almost always a class I’d participate in at a convenient time and location.
Everyone is helpful, happy to be there, and the programs are inclusive.
Love the diversity particularly Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
Great teachers.
Wide variety of classes for all ages
Les Mills classes
Pilates classes are very high quality -
The amazing array of fitness options! I take a weight-lifting and dance class, I ride the bikes, I run on the treadmills, I used the mat areas to stretch and do some yoga, I lift free weights downstairs, and I use the machines!
Lots of excellent options at different times of the day.
I am a longtime member; I love the TL Y. Lots of classes, clean facility, friendly people. My kids are mid-30's now, and yet I see parents in classes that I've known since day care days. I'm an introvert, but the Y is my social connection. :)
I love women’s hours on Sunday mornings.
I do wish yall would fix the swimsuit spinner though.
Treadmills facing the windows and lake!!!

Swim area and life guards are great
