This review has been way overdue—I’m not even sure where to start. Honestly speaking, I didn’t know there was more to yoga than meditation and stretching. I had no idea how much strength, focus, and endurance it required until I came across CorePower Yoga. As someone who worked out at the gym five days a week, I thought I had fitness figured out—until I walked into CorePower.
I was first introduced to CorePower Yoga by my husband back in 2022 during a difficult time in my life. He encouraged me to give it a shot, and I reluctantly agreed. My first class at the Pacific Beach location was booked using his buddy pass, and we chose an HPF (Hot Power Fusion) class. Let me tell you—it was a challenge! Between keeping up with the balance and postures, adjusting to the heat, and maintaining my focus, I thought, This is way harder than I expected! My heart was racing, and it felt like I had just completed a full-body workout in less than an hour.
Despite the challenge, I was hooked. I signed up for a membership immediately and kept coming back for more. I tried other classes like Sculpt and CorePower Yoga C2, each one pushing me in new ways. CorePower became more than just a workout—it became my home, my sanctuary, and my safe space.
Through consistent practice, CorePower helped me heal, both physically and emotionally. Each session allowed me to let go, break through, and come out feeling refreshed and empowered. I even stopped going to the gym for a while because CorePower became my go-to for fitness and wellness.
The Pacific Beach location holds a special place in my heart. The community and staff are nothing short of amazing. They are always so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely excited to see you. The staff treats you like family, and their warm energy makes every visit a positive experience.
This overdue review is my chance to thank every staff member at the PB location. You’ve all played a role in my journey, and I’m deeply grateful for each of you. CorePower Yoga has been transformative for me, and I’ll forever appreciate the safe and supportive space you’ve created.

I love La Mesa Core Power. Love the classes, the community, and definitely the instructors. Especially Paige M, Kat, Nicole D. Andi, and all the other instructors. Andrew, Stacie, Angela, Stephanie, Brooke, Sally. Tegan, and anyone else I’ve had as an instructor.
Restore class was great. The instructor was super good :)
Many class times, types, and locations to choose from that fit with my varying schedule and fitness needs. Recently there have been some classes that incorporated sound bath and would love to see more of these!

The UTC location is very convenient for me, parking is plentiful and free, and my restorative yoga instructor Lori is awesome! The class has been very helpful for my back issues and stress reduction, too.
Great Experience
I enjoy the restorative classes that I've tried. I appreciate that classes aren't so jammed full of students that you're unable to move without watching if you'll hit your neighbors like some of the other PB to La Jolla area studios. Nothing seems... anatomical-safety-questionable like I've also experienced with some local yoga studios. I like the overall feel, instruction, and the access to a locker room. I probably won't attend non-restore classes, because I overheat easily, but I like the restore options I've tried.

I LOVE core power yoga. The atmosphere, locations, instructors, and merchandise are exceptional. I recently left to join another studio closer to my home; however, I quickly returned to Core Power Yoga. There isn't a studio that compares to Core Power in San Diego. I'm going to be a lifelong member.

Excellent yoga instructors that hold the space for HPF eloquently. Facility is clean and very well maintained. The heat and humidity are perfect! Thank you! I truly enjoy my practice at this location.

I took a yoga sculpt class and I liked the energy. I like the good combination of yoga, weights, abs and lower body work outs. Definitely walked out drenched.
The yoga instructor had a great flow for the C2 class and the temperature was just right for the studio.
