Audrey was amazing! Great class
Great studio and class, the room felt great! I look forward to making this studio part of my trips to San Diego
Great flow. Right temp in the room. Sydney should teach more classes.
The instructors. Cleanliness. Times offered
I genuinely love CorePower Yoga—the consistency, the variety of classes, and the quality of the workouts are why I keep coming back. It’s one of the few places where I know I’ll get a strong, reliable experience across locations and instructors.
That said, there’s one issue that’s become hard to ignore: the music volume in Sculpt classes.
At times, it’s simply too loud—so loud that it becomes physically uncomfortable and genuinely distracting. I’ve now had to leave class early more than once because of it, which is frustrating given how much I enjoy the workout itself.
It’s not just the volume—it’s also how the music is being used. During more complex or instruction-heavy sequences, the combination of:
extremely high volume
songs with heavy lyrics
and instructors needing to raise their voices to be heard
creates a kind of sensory overload. Your brain is being pulled in multiple directions—trying to follow cues, process layered movements, and filter out lyrics that compete with the teacher’s voice. In a heated room, especially, that level of stimulation can cross from energizing into overwhelming.
Music can absolutely elevate a class. When it’s used intentionally—instrumental, well-paced, and balanced with instruction—it enhances focus and flow. But when it’s consistently cranked at maximum volume, especially with lyric-heavy tracks, it can actually take away from the experience rather than support it.
I’ve even started bringing earplugs just in case, which feels like a workaround for something that could be addressed more directly through instructor awareness and studio standards. It also seems like there should be some consideration around safe decibel levels in an enclosed, heated environment.
To be clear—this isn’t every instructor. There are teachers who manage music beautifully, and the difference is noticeable. But often enough, it feels like music management is inconsistent, and that inconsistency impacts the overall experience.
I’m sharing this because I care about the space and want to keep coming back. With just a bit more attention to how music is used—especially in Sculpt—this could easily go from a great experience to an exceptional one.
Incredible instructors and staff, tons of classes and it’s nice and clean!
I love Ashley W’s classes she is an amazing teacher
Ashley W’s C2 class is amazing! Her flows are unique and challenging in the best way. It’s one of the highlights of my week!

Excellent class, great instructor, and loved the infrared red lights - highly recommend this class.
Love it
Everything!!!! The heat, the instructors, the vibe. I feel like a better person every time I leave. Outside of time with my besties, this has been the most grounding and empowering thing in my life lately!
Love it
CorePower Yoga is the best community of yoga centers in San Diego, uniting like minded people at every location.
The instructors are amazing. I’m not motivated to do yoga at home so I prefer the communal yoga environment. I always feel loose and refreshed after a yoga class at CorePower. Sets me up for a good productive day.
Beth and Amy are LEGENDS
Lisa, the teacher was great. I like the restorative class that it was slow and deliberate and very deep stretches
Staff is very nice and helpful, and the classes are quality. The facilities are clean and the equipment is efficient and up to date. I’ve really enjoyed my time there!
I LOVE my Yoga Sculpt 6:00 am classes. I am a recent member and I am obssessed. I used to train at the 24 Hr Fitness Gym at UTC and since they're going rennovations I decided to join Core Power after one of my friends introduced me to it with her Buddy Pass, and then I tried the free week.
I've been going at least 4 times during the week at 6:00am, and my day has improved so much.
I love it. I have loved the subs better than Rebeca for Tuesday and Thursday classes. No hate to her or anything. She's good and kind. However, I find her teaching style too fast-paced and hard to follow. I prefer other subs like Madden and Kiandra who have more controlled and slow paced teaching styles, leading to an intense sculpting and BURNING workout!
I also love Lindsey V's 8:30 Hot Fusion class on Thursdays and Yoga Sculpt on Saturday at 9:15am.
I love most of your instructors - especially Udoka! As someone that is struggling with fertility, however, I am not able to take as many heated classes while I am going through IVF. It'd be great if you could add more C1 or non-heated C2 classes to the schedule!
I like it i used to be a member.I would to go there all the time. What I liked about it before was that the last class was at nine p m but of courseThat was pre covid days! it was one of my favorite studios, the new design of the studio im not so into. I really like the old design better. I like that you offer free classes for community.
Core power gave me my life back after a botched hip replacement and I struggled for years and tomorrow is one of the finest representatives severe company that I’ve experienced. Her energy is awesome actually beyond awesome and I travel from Oceanside all the way to Del Mar and that’s a long drive and well worth it. She’s a gem.
