Everyone was really friendly. The service was really good, they explained everything as they were going through and told me aftercare advice.
For my first time in along time I came in for a Hollywood way and half leg. Dominika was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. I was struggling in terms of pain and she made the effort to check on me constantly that I was ok and wanted to proceed. Results wise Dominika was thorough and made sure I was happy. She gave all the relevant aftercare advice. Although painful from my perspective, the service from Dominika was second to none.
I always recommend NKD as it’s specialist in waxing all the staff are fabulous and friendly too

Professional staff, they make you feel at ease during the treatment and are competent and honest about their services and to give you advice. It is a bit more expensive than other salons for waxing services, but it is worth it for all the reasons highlighted before!

I had a Brazilian wax by Lucy at 14.30 on Friday 8/2/19.
She was on time, in fact a little early which I was pleased about. I just happened to notice on my watch that it was exactly 14.30 when she started. She was very quick and worked on both sides of my bikini area at the same which is different to the many training waxes I have had where they wax once side, then the other. She had obviously looked up my history of waxes on the system as she commented that i’d had a few Brazilian’s before.
She was pleasant and chatty. We spoke about holidays we had booked and before I knew it, she said she had finished. I noticed the time was 14.43 as my watch flashed up the time. I thought this was a record time to finish my wax in considering I was overdue a wax! For this reason, when Lucy left the room, I checked my bikini area. I could clearly see that my labia area had not been waxed fully. I got off the bed and opened the door to ask Lucy if she could wax some bits she had missed. I felt a little awkward doing this and i’m not sure a client who is less confident would do this and might have just left feeling short changed and unhappy with their wax. Lucy waxed my labia area and then stood by the side of the bed but facing me whilst I checked...again, another awkward moment examining my intimate area for stray hairs whilst being watched! Maybe leaving the room again or standing behind me might have been more appropriate. Whilst doing this, she said there were still a few hairs but the wax wouldn’t get the ‘white ones’, at which point I cringed inside. I’ve NEVER had this pointed out to me by a therapist at NKD. I literally did feel my very nearly 40 years old! I know previously that any hairs that wax hasn’t removed have sometimes been tweezed.
After that comment, I didn’t feel I could check my intimate area any further or ask for it to be waxed / tweezed at all.
What I feel sets NKD apart from other salons who offer waxing is the attention to detail to make sure every hair is removed that should be. With the very odd exception, other salons do not wax the labia or underneath and it is these little differences that make the experience at NKD worth going there for.
I will return as a customer but just ask for a little less speed and more attention to the detail...including the white ones! :-)

I did Hollywood wax there and I think I will give 10 if you were a bit more detailed because there were a bit hair after doing. However, I really appreciate how professional your staff is. It is a good experience even It is the first time waxing of me thank you.
