I contacted Merry Maids Farmington CT for a quote. I was impressed that the representative wanted to do a home visit to evaluate first. Another company gave me a quote based upon my filling out a questionnaire. I liked the fact that the Merry Maids quote was for a flat rate rather than hourly. On the first cleaning visit I found the team to be lovely people, willing to listen to suggestions I made. They did an excellent job under difficult circumstances - a house filled with antiques - and which had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. I was very pleased.

Dina was prompt for the consultation, very friendly and explained well what a deep clean entailed. The two maids did an exceptional job. I was not home to see products used but floors are shiny and house did not have a strong chemical smell.

Teams of two people would be able to do this job more efficiently.

Also, it would be great if we could arrange to have a major cleaning- floors, baseboards, insides of cabinets and drawers- whatever we agreed upon in advance. The charge could be an hourly rate or the charge as agreed upon prior to the job.
