I would recommend Merry Maids of Bellingham to anyone wanting a clean, fresh feeling home for a reasonable fee. Everyone I interacted with, on the phone and in person was friendly and helpful. The cleaners walked through the house with me to be sure they knew exactly what was needed, and we walked through again at the end to assess the job. They were throughout and thoughtful in all ways, a true pleasure to work with.

Overall good team and good effort. Did have to remind about some woodwork and door trim and vacuuming still to do but responsive and completed the job. Thanks.
It wasn’t worth the high price. The dusting was limited, glass shower doors were left streaked. I had to ask for furniture to be moved while vacuuming and then very little was moved. I had to ask for throw rugs to be vacuumed, they weren’t picked up to vacuum under them.
Cleaners are timely, efficient, and pleasant.
The service you provide does not fit our needs. We must find someone willing to do whatever is necessary.
I spoke with Maddie I believe showed her the house. Wanted all but two rooms walls cleaned and basic move out cleaning. We discussed I didn’t want carpets edged but vacuumed and appliances cleaned for additional costs. I was delayed in returning to the house as my wife has been in the hospital that’s why I chose to get a move out clean done. Upon my return there were cobwebs in the bathroom pile of dirt from sweeping in the bathroom none of the floors were even lightly vacuumed, there was evidence of cleaning done the oven was cleaned however the pans or even under the pans weren’t touched on top. The fridge was wiped down inside however I had to wipe the seal and the door down and underneath. Also spoke about walls wiped in all but two rooms. If they were it wasn’t evident. There was a plastic bottle left on top of cupboard that was supposedly cleaned and tons of residue left behind. As if instead of cleaning top to bottom room by room it seems they went wherever and left a bunch of stuff behind. Was the house dirty yes did they do some of the job yes. However it seems even as though maddi said she walked it on the phone, there was a lot not done. I don’t feel I have monster high expectations however cobwebs in bathroom windows,piles of sweep up left behind and stove pans not touched is not ok. All in all I was not pleased with the service however what is done is done.

They just did a great, thorough job cleaning my house. My poor cats are working overtime to make up for lost cat hair!

None 9f my floors were cleaned. They swept them but never washed them this includes my stairs. So essentially the team washed walls for 5 hours and swept.
Your ladies that cleaned were very professional.
The cleaners were on time, efficient in their work and did a very good job. They were pleasant to work with and professional.

We hired them to clean our house for the new people who moved in the next day. I went back in the evening to drop off the keys and to make sure everything was good to go.
Microwave was broken and the house wasn’t clean at all. Dirt piles in every corner. Dog hair covered the carpet on the side of the walls and and and…. I had to go back to town to get tools to fix the microwave and clean the whole house again. I basically could have just done it myself, which I did and they still charged me. That was my worst experience I’ve ever had.

The communication beforehand, confirmation of day and time is great. The cleaners are always nice and leave my home looking better than it was before they came.

The bathrooms were spotless!
However, the floors were not done to my satisfaction. I left a message for the Bellingham office asking for a walk through, I asked for this before the job was done, and I also left the phone message asking for a walk through after the job was done.
No one made any contact for my follow up after the job was done.

Begin by showing the client the list of tasks to be performed for the day so as to more clearly communicate what to be expected. When necessary, replace vague words such as "dust" with detailed meaning such as "use glass cleaner to wipe the glass coffee table" or "wipe down the tiles on the fireplace," etc.
The ladies did an excellent job, I have zero complaints. I also like that my house did not smell like chemicals, or really anything. I used a different company one other time, and had to reclean everything. I am super happy with Merry Maids.
Stop sending new people each visit. The cleaners need to be able to remember how we want things done from visit to visit.
