Member Testimonials
There are a good amount of classes and student to "teacher/coach" ratio is low and we appreciate that. The coaches are friendly and speak to the students so they understand and not belittle. Our children have attended for several years and we continue to return because of the schedules, coaches and fees.

This place has alot to offer lots of things to do lots of activities and programs truly a family place has something for everyone in the family all ages .
Everyone was extremely friendly.
However, I am a 70 year old woman learning how to swim, because my whole life I was afraid of water. My instructor Maddie was very polite, nice, friendly and patient with me. She was very professional.
I could use more lessons, but at $160.00 for 4 days gets very expensive.
Classes were small. Didn't feel pressured. Good learning enviroment
We liked the organization and ease in registering. We were impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff, both front desk and swim instructors. We were delighted in the progress our grandchildren made in their swimming. We highly recommend the Thousand Oaks YMCA.
Compared to other swimming lessons, I felt like this class was more practical for my son’s age and skill level.
Enjoyed swimming program but wished more summer offerings available during the day at Schertz indoor pool.
The lessons were excellent, my daughter learned well and had a lot of fun. The staff is super helpful and flexible and showed that they genuinely care.
The coaches that teaching my grandson how to swim are very good in teaching children how to swim.
It's family friendly and the staff bosses and coaches are amazing at what they do let alone on teaching my child the basics in soccer ⚽....I hope my son goes far and achieves his goals, dreams, and passion..... He has became an excellent soccer player and he has done very well for his soccer camp, games, and practices....I hope he continues this journey....Guess we'll see what happens;)

Team
Very organized
I truly appreciate the YMCA's prompt responses regarding summer playing facilities. The emphasis on a positive youth sports culture also speaks volumes about your priorities. While we've encountered minor issues like jersey sizes and facility concerns, I'm very impressed with how quickly administrators have resolved these inconveniences.
Well organized and great communication.
Because is the best thing that i have made the right choice “ keeping up my work schedule in the gym “ and my son playing basketball with his friends ,
Gives all kids at different skill levels a chance to play
Great atmosphere. Activities for children and adults.
Family oriented.. you think of the member with children and make it a family experience.
Swim lessons are great. Our kids love the fit kid classes.
The instructors are pleasant and the kids enjoy working with them. They offer encouragement.
Friendly staff
Everyone was kind, professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, and friendly. I saw my daughter build trust with her instructor and grow her skill immensely over the two week class. They helped her overcome her fears in ways she had never been able to before. It meant a lot to me, and she wants to move on to level 2 now!
Different variety of programs. Friendliness of staff.
The instructor was very patient and interacted with the little kids well while still maintaining authority and safety. She was also very pleasant and seemed to genuinely like what she was doing and being with the kiddos.
Great customer service by your swimming instructors.

The volleyball program was very enjoyable for my daughter. She had a great time participating and looked forward to each session. Thank you for providing such a fun and well organized activity.
