My granddaughter is shy and would not ask questions in school. I researched several places that offered tutoring and decided on Sylvan. They were warm and personable. They tested her before they laid out a plan. They are in contact with her teachers, so everyone is on the same page, and they send me updates regularly. We're proud that she has caught up and is on grade-level. I was so impressed that she will be continuing with Sylvan for support when the school year resumes. And letting her keep the warm and concerned connections she has made there. I'm stoked!!

It has been a great experience for my high school junior. After a year of virtual classes, with limited actual teaching, he was struggling. Sylvan provided effective, one on one sessions that helped build his confidence and get him back on track. The staff was also great and stayed in touch.
Our child has connected so well with his teachers at Sylvan, and it’s been Extremely reassuring to know that he has the experienced/ expert help in the areas in which he needs skill strengthening. Sylvan is very flexible and is willing to work with us on the subject, the timing of the session, and is very warm and professional. I have to call almost every week to adjust something about my daughter's scheduled session, and they are always friendly and helpful.
The instructors are always very knowledgeable on the subject and Marissa is always quick to reply to any question,. She always tries to fit us in at the last minute, when requested, and is usually able to do so.
