The midland team has helped our son so much
I was over charged twice within two weeks. Never got offered any discounts or any credit for the company’s mistakes. I called to talk to Tobin and Brenda supposedly told him to call me about the situation, and never received any call. When I scheduled a meeting with Brenda she canceled and did not inform me. When I showed up the day of the meeting she said “What are you doing here, the meeting was canceled because I assumed you weren’t coming because you weren’t bringing your child in this week” in my opinion sylvan of Saginaw has very unprofessional behavior. I shouldn’t feel like I have to do someone else’s job when I’m a paying customer. I shouldn’t have to explain how much I should be charged every week nor should I have to explain that you should communicate any cancellations with your clients. I refuse to recommend Sylvan to anyone unless you want to be over charged 2 weeks during Christmas and deal with unprofessional behavior/service and prejudice from the company.
It's been easy to start. Everyone is so kind and it's really helped my son take an interest in reading. I have already recommended to friends and family and will continue to do so

We do find our students perform better on the SAT when they are able to complete their entire program, including online content which they should complete on their own. I didn’t get any work done my child did there.. I don’t k ow what improvements she made during her classes..
It is expensive but still we planned to send her thinking of some good response.. But unfortunately didn’t get any benefits..
We are sorry to hear that your child's experience did not meet your expectations. It is unfortunate that she was not able to attend more than six hours, as all of our programs take time and consistency to see marked improvement. If you move back to this area, we would love to give it another try.
I like the fact that Sylvan is an individual lesson! Each child works at their own pace and they don't move forward UNTIL the child masters it! Also staff in Saginaw location are very kind and professional! The confidence builder is amazing! Thank you Sylvan!

I'm not disappointed, we haven't been in the program long enough at this point for me to have a good opinion. What we have done thus far has been good however, we haven't seen the improvement in the student's work yet.
That's the reason for the score.
I know scheduling can be hard at times, but sticking to schedules and having better availability would be helpful.

We like the consistency in student delivery and the progress feedback each period! We can see how our daughter is progressing by her confidence and willingness to engage in her learning tasks! She is not as easily frustrated as before! We’re looking forward to seeing how much more growth in the next semester!

The teacher doesn’t know how to teach Algebra 2. He looked up his IPhone the whole session to figure out how to teach the problem. I got ripped off my $50. My son said after 10 minutes later, he wanted to walk away from the teacher.
I am so pleased with Mr Dave. He is so knowledgeable and deals well with my grand daughter. Thank you for helping us so very much.
My son was in a group with a young child who constantly distracted my son and other students. What a waste of learning time for my son and a waste of money.

Wesley had a D in precalculus the first grading period. He ended with a B in the second nine weeks because of Sylvan. Wesley had twice weekly homework help, but I think the biggest difference has been that on the third weekly visit he worked on the skills gap that he had from the previous Algebra II class due to ongoing depression. I know that the focused help will help Wesley when he takes the ACT later this spring, but most of all his confidence.
