Flexible for homework assist

I can't believe how much progress my son has made in just a month!
The staff are so friendly and committed to the success of our boy. He has really struggled in school with math and reading comprehension and was beginning to just give up. The personal and caring attention from his instructors has him enthused about learning again. Some days he can't wait to go! I have already recommended Sylvan to others.
Cathy has been so helpful and informative in guiding us through getting our son the help he needs. After a couple months of tutoring at Sylvan our son is already making noticeable progress.

I have not been able to gauge how effective this program is for my son. He’s been in the program for 7 months, and the progress reports that I receive are not exactly reader friendly. While it may show levels of achievement and mastery, what I am interested in, is knowing that Sylvan has identified his most challenging areas and able to show specific objective achievements besides just levels and general goals. I believe the program assists him in reading, but I don’t believe it is being aggressive enough to really help advance him in his reading and his confidence to read. I will give it some more time, but for these past 7 months, the progress has seemed minimal.
Making sure that what the students are learning at sylvan is what is currently being learned in the classroom

My daughter has shown improvement in her grades this past trimester. Watching her grow little at a time.
Grouping children is fine for some activities but when a child have a focus area that when the child should be working with staff a on that skill to help them reach three goal. Someone should be seeing that children out after there section.
Genuine concern for each student. Easy payment plan.
One on one instruction is perfect for my daughter. They are kind and do a great job. My daughter went from a reading level of 2nd grade to a reading level of 5th grade. She’s a 4th grader. It took about 6 months in total.

Flexibility of doing online learning
I like the professionalism and flexibility of the staff. They go for meeting the needs of the children, instead of pushing a specific curriculum/ program. Cathy is a great administrator. The kids enjoy a safe and supportive environment.
