The ease of entering the pool area.
Great place to work out, great shower rooms, friendly staff.
All the classes and trainers are amazing!
I love swimming laps in both pools. I don’t make it much past the front locker rooms but everything always looks and feels clean- the locker rooms, the pool, the pool deck, the lobby. The ladies do a FABULOUS job keeping the locker room, shower and toilet areas sparkling. Love my Y!
You offer many water class options.
Good class selection, good times.
10 lap lanes for swimming.
Spin classes and the instructors. They make it interesting and some are very witty
Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Kim, my trainer, tailors my workouts to my needs and is always encouraging.
We are part of the swim team which we appreciate for many reasons. We have gotten a family membership so that we can use the gym while the kids are swimming. We also appreciate that there is plenty of space to set up to work while the kids are there.
For the most part the facility is very clean. However, I do feel that there is room for improvement in the family bathrooms. They should be checked and cleaned more often.
High quality equipment, high level of cleanliness, respectful members, a sense of community.
Love the camps! Thank you for all that you do. Keep up all the great work.
The summer camp has a lot of activities for kids to enjoy and the staff is very nice and helpful there this is extremely important to me.

Social,physical,creative and thinking
My girls have always come home smiling and happy from YMCA camps.
Wish there was a member just for the the fitness room as I don’t swim or use the courts but am paying for them.
The West Chester Area Y is a wonderful organization and we love everything that they do for our family. Our children attend camp, preschool and Child Watch, and we use the gym and pool. This Y is beautifully clean and well maintained. The staff are all caring, friendly and competent. Thank you WCAY for all you do!
Safe environment; responsible counselors and a great setting.
I like the small groups and that its an affordable community.
Great offerings and staff has been wonderful.
I love the kids are getting pool time and outdoor time
My son has attended West Chest Y Summer Camp since age 5. He is always happy about all activities.
He enjoyed making new friends and the counselors are friendly and excellent!!
I appreciate and our family loves the "Y."
My girls always happy about all activities they love camp
Times available
The staff is friendly and supportive. The instructors always allow for “opportunity” throughout class. Many classes offered at various times to allow access to classes within your schedule.
They are fun, well-managed and inclusive.
Everything. The trainers, the people, the socialization
This is regarding Summer Camp 2022: This is our third year participating in camp. We have always been happy with the Y and its staff in handling our child (both through daycare and summer camp). This current year we found various things that are not so great. In years past drop off time was flexible beginning at 7:30 or 8am (I’m going off of memory and may be wrong about the exact time). Early registration emails reflected this drop off time. As camp approach we were emailed about SPARK and we informed that we have to pay to drop our kids off 10 minutes before 8:30. One of the attractions to camp was the drop off times and its flexibility. Work schedules had to be rearranged resulting in canceled clients on our part. Another concern is that counselors are allowed to play music with F words around the kids in the upper groups (Trailblazers). Recently, my youngest was written up for reading about calories on the nutrition labels of his lunch items to the other kids. I am all for disciplining my kid and being on the side of teachers and counselors when he acts up, but explaining to him how some of the things he’s getting in trouble about are not so bad but at the same time he must listen and respect his counselors is a difficult thing for a 6 year old to understand.
