Mathnasium of Langley is a great way to bring your kids up to their full potential in Mathematics. They identify any areas of weakness and then fix them and strengthen their core understanding. My kids have gone from average students to A's and B's in Math. Over the summer it is especially important to continue the program as a two-month gap causes a considerable loss of learning and potential confusion to begin the new year. Teachers expect students to retain what they have learned; but, if your student learned something last Septemeber and now must remember a year later - you do the math on that one. Continued practice and improvement on techniques enable more confidence, better ability, and better grades. It all adds up! I recommend Mathnasium to all my family and friends because it works.
Our grand daughter started at Mathnasium a few weeks ago and we are amazed by how much she is loving it. She is already feeling more confident in her abilities and loves the 'Break-Outs'. She is very motivated by the point system and has already earned her first gift card and is now saving up for something else. We love the fact that there is no homework which can become a power struggle for parents. Mathnasium really does make math 'fun'.

My 14 yr old son started w the Center at a grade 5 math level in Sept 2017, he now sits at a grade 7 level. The staff are very supportive, it’s never a fight to get him to attend, and his confidence with math is growing.
Dr. Sylvia has been very open to discussion and helpful in trying to adjust the work plan for our child.

My son Jackson in grade 4 was placed in a lower level math. 4 years later he failed grade 8 math. His math teacher was adamant he should be placed in apprenticeship math even though his dream was to go to BCIT. You require grade 11 foundations or pre-cal. We tried about 5 independent math tutors who were referred to us. Very little progress for a large amount of investment both time and money. Quite by accident while we were staying at the Sandman Hotel in Langley we saw a Mathnasium sign advertising their math program. 2 years at Mathnasium and he has a sold 80 percent in pre-cal grade 10 math. Words cannot express our gratitude to Sylvia and her amazing team!!
