Mathnasium is the solution to the problem of Math. They have the very specific and precise tools to first identify the areas missing in your child’s math understanding. Once they know what is missing they fill in the holes. All three of my children have attended Mathnasium and all three have not only increased their marks to A’s and B’s but they have a level of confidence now in Math due to their level of understanding. One of my children is now taking Physics 11 and Chemistry 11 and another is going into High School with excellence and my third is now an Instructor at Mathnasium ... Does the program work - the evidence is clear to me and I have personally recommended the program to many families I know as well as teachers. Plus, Sylvia and Doug are wonderful people as well.
Dr. Sylvia is soooo nice & very professional. She doesn’t over crowd her centre. Her husband Doug is very nice as well. Dr. Sylvia is always positive, energetic & cares about her students and staff. Would totally recommend this centre & the program!

Grateful for Mathnasium
Our son is in a French immersion program. Great program, but they do math in French and we felt that, though he was in grade 6, his math skills were much lower. When we took him for an assessment at Mathnasium, they confirmed our fears that he was at about a low grade 3 level. He stayed for a sample session after his assessment, and when he came out from that session, he actually said that he "Surprisingly" enjoyed it. Since then, he continues to enjoy his sessions, his math skills in 4 months have come up almost 2 full grades. On top of that, he is more engaged in school with his other studies and all of his grades have overall improved in that time in each and every subject. One day, a couple of months ago, we were out for a walk and out of the blue, he thanked me for enrolling him in Mathnasium. He said it opened up his mind to learning in so many ways and he was enjoying the learning process now. We are more than pleased with the results.
Dr. Sylvia has been very supportive and willing to discuss specific issues as they arise in an effort to provide the best opportunity for my son to progress in Math.
This is the second season we have been involved and we could not be happier. We intend on continuing over a long #of years with different parts of our family
I have recommended Mathnasium of Langley many times. From family to friends, people in the community as well as teachers. Their program is second to none and their staff and management are excellent. All three of my kids have attended and now one is an instructor. My kids were average and now get A’s in math and have full confidence in Mathematics. It takes time and commitment; but, the results speak for themselves. I will continue to recommend Mathnasium as they get results.
Signed my daughter for 6 months at the beginning of grade 2 just for her to have a little heads up on things! She loved it! She loves math has a different approach towards that subject! Will sign her up again in grade 3!

Mathnasium succeeded where other programs failed to do anything but cost money. Their methods made math fun for our daughter, and her marks and confidence improved dramatically. I would never have guessed she’d be an A math student in high school, but here we are!
I think it is a great concept, a great atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff and tutors. I like especially that you can just drop in and can come as often as your schedule allows you to. Really flexible.

The environment at the Langley Mathnasium has left Tristan wanting to come everyday to learn Math. We had him in another after school program and wasnt as engaged. He often was left wanting to skip sessions, but it isnt the case here.
