1 month in and my daughter (10) is still looking forward to each session. This is huge because starting any math homework with my daughter in the past has led to tears and frustration for all of us.
We would like to give 10 out of 10 rating to Mathnasium Langley, especially the principal Ms. Sylvia McLellan, with her professionalism and her kindness and passion about helping/teaching Math to the kids (students) and with all the teachers within Mathnasium Langley. We are glad to have a place like Mathnasium Langley for our daughter for helping her Math. We are truly appreciated Mathnasium Langley so much.

My son has been attending Mathnasium for the past 6 months and I’ve seen nothing but growth in both his learning and confidence! After every session he comes out proud, feeling accomplished, and best of all happy! He loves the instructors and never puts of a fuss when I tell him he has math! Mathnasium Langley is definitely doing something right!
So far so good.. My child has only been attending for a short period of time, but seems to be quite comfortable and does not seem to dread their time there at all. It's a nice surprise.
The Langley learning centre is great. The centre runs in a very professional and proficient manner. I feel that when I have an issue with anything Dr. Sylvia or Doug are fully there to listen and offer help in any way possible. I feel very blessed to have my children attend at the Langley learning centre.
Kids get great experience here while learning Maths.
So far my daughter has been having a great learning experience at Mathnasium. I’m very thankful with the teachers for their dedication and the help they have provided my daughter.

Mathnasium’s system just works, plain and simple. All three of my kids have benefited from their years at Mathnasium. My eldest has graduated College and is working in her career. My middle child is starting University this fall and my youngest is going into grade 11 this year. They have all seen the benefits of the targeted math material. They were all behind in their mathematics when we started in the program when Mathnasium opened and have become stronger and stronger. My middle child was in the top of the class taking Precalculus 12. There was no way I would have been able to support them at home. I was strong at mathematics many years ago but too out of practice and so many advanced topics to be of any assistance any longer. The team at Mathnasium are skilled and are able to target the areas of weakness they find in their ongoing assessments - what a difference. Plus, during this crazy year of the pandemic we were able to shift to online learning without skipping a beat. Would I recommend Mathnasium? Yes, I would and in fact, I have on many occasions to great success. It is an investment in your children and your own peace of mind. My three kids have all seen the benefits and two of the three have been successful to reach post secondary so far. This was not looking possible years ago when we came to Mathnasium - today it is the reality and my third child is in the home stretch now.

My daughter started with Mathnasium in Grade 9. She was seriously struggling with math and it was causing her a great amount of stress trying to understand what was going on in class. I’m not a teacher, expecting the parents to help at home was a battle for both of us. I took her to Mathnasium for an assessment. My daughter didn’t have an understanding of basic math going back as Grade 3, so that’s where we started from. The tutors are nothing short of amazing. Finally things made sense to her. Whatever their method is, it works! She actually looked forward to going for tutoring instead of in tears after every math class. I’m excited to say that her final letter grade for Grade 11 math was an A! My daughter is so proud of herself! Thank you so much Dr. Sylvia and team!

Mathnasium has improved our child’s grade and confidence. The at home learning has been wonderful and convenient. The booking system is so easy to use!
We are really loving how Mathnasium is going so far. My daughter is always willing to go and actually quite excited to attend. She is getting a great understanding of the basics again. Looking forward to how this changes and enhances her current level of math learning and understanding at school.
My son started at the Langley Mathnasium a couple months ago and has improved so much! His basic math skills were below grade level causing a lot of upset with grade level moderate skills. Sylvia and her team have done a great job fostering his basic skills and giving him the confidence to attemp the more challenging work. We are now starting to see the improvement at school as well!

My 13 year old son has ADHD and doesn’t always understand math concepts the first time teachers explain them in class. He told me he loves Mathnasium because they know how to explain things so that “his brain” gets it. He also said he loves the staff, they are all super nice and fun!

Mathnasium has changed what math means in my house. My daughter achieved an A in Math 8 this year and feels confident when she is doing math. She never complains about taking her lessons and the teachers are amazing.
The ground up approach makes math easier for my son. Fills in the gaps that he has missed on his way up through school and is building a foundation for math success.

Dr. Sylvia helped us tremendously and I wouldn’t hesitate to send my 15 year old son again next year! He never complained about doing work and actually enjoyed the challenge of each booklet as he progressed. It is a bit pricey so we couldn’t continue into the school year but definitely will be back over the summer.
