Love the welcome by front desk staff.
The best part was my personal trainer, Maddi. Unfortunately she has moved away but due to her excellent assistance I will continue to come to the Y and use the weight machines and do the exercises she taught me.
I also like the diversity, a very big plus for me. I like the range of ages and races. One of the few places I see this in KCMO.

Great experience. I’m so glad that we joined. Everyone is really friendly and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. I also love that I can go there with my family. It gives us a family activity that we can enjoy together. Great choice to join.

Love the atmosphere
The staff is great. From Ms. Cathy to Ms. Carter, all the front desk staff and trainers are incredible. The facility is well maintained and always seems quite clean.
The one negative is when the gym is unable to be used by younger children due to full court basketball.
Facility is well maintained. The staff are helpful and super friendly. There is a lovely diversity of race and age at the Cleaver Y. My only negative criticism is the reduced time of pool hours due to lack of lifeguard availability.

The facilities are generally nice and clean. I love the people who work there, they are so nice.
This is the nicest Y I've ever belonged to (and I've been a member in 4 different towns across 3 states.). The facilities seem brand new, are beautiful and clean. I love the layout, its so airy and bright. The child care room is so cute! Pool is excellent as are locker rooms. I'm delighted so far.
My only wish is for some easier way to get my baby in and out of her swimsuit in the locker room. I haven't tried the family changing room yet, because I didn't think I could leave my stuff in there, but everything in the locker room is hard tile so I'm afraid to put her down. It's difficult to change out of a wet swimsuit while holding a baby!
I like the diversity of the YMCA and the fact that there is something for everyone no matter how old you are.
Everyone is so friendly and caring. The staff knows your name. They are very accommodating.
