We're returning members, and I'm impressed with the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff. And, there are so many options for working out, swimming and for group classes! To me, it's the most comprehensive gym fee in the area! I'm also pleased with its connection to the community, rather than being a for-profit gym.

Provides an environment that anyone can feel comfortable coming to, it has a much wider variety of options than just a weight room and treadmills
You provide a wide range of activities for my family.
Lots of classes, and unlike other Y's, the vast majority of them are free.
The Y has classes for every interest and age. The trainers in these classes are amazing!
I also like the equipment.
The only criticism is that there is only one shoulder machine. That would ordinarily not be a problem, but someone regularly takes the seat off of the machine and unfortunately, I am not able to put it back.

All the sports activities for kids and afiltd
The teacher tonight came up to parents and said how the kids were doing and what they needed to work on- that was awesome. I would like to see more like that- communication with parents. It seems king of impersonal as it is. My daughter loves coming!
Only been once so far
All areas are good but I was extremely impressed with Stephanie's ability to identify my health problem and to recommend procedures to improve it.
Lots of choices
Provide plenty of things to do to get healthy. No excuses.
Friendly greetings when we walk in, and staff at the kid play do a great job at keeping the kids entertained while we exercise.

They are excellent at promoting health and fitness.
Pretty much everything, but my wife is concerned about the Loss of Fitlinx. She really liked it to remind her of her machine settings without having to have a separate tool like notes on her cell phone which are cumbersome. Also she liked having a record of what she had done. It was a good motivator.
It is a very family-oriented place that has great facilities for both adults and children.

This is our second time around in the beginners class and it felt more structured. Teachers learned the kids names, worked very well with the kids, and gave the parents a report after each class. We didn't get any of this last time so it's a nice change. Thanks for the improvements!

Beautiful facility, availability of a variety of classes at convenient times, and all of the kids programs (kidzone, kids night out, sports programs, summer camps).
