Dallas at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful with the registration process. My wife already loves her membership and felt very welcomed in Christy's body pump class, and it led to her to making new friends. The Y is great for getting us used to our new hometown.

The Y offers a variety of classes, informed and helpful staff and necessary equipment for me to get exercise in a safe, clean and convenient environment. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and look forward to seeing my friends there.

I have brought friends to the Y several times and they have joined. However, the 8 am water instructor (Monday and Wednesday) needs to go.

What does the Y do really well?

I don’t know about other YMCAs I can only speak for the one at Platte City Missouri but they are highly capable of getting your mind body, and spirit in a very good place. The staff is very knowledgeable & very courteous , They are ready to meet your every need. There is a great pool, and every machine you would need to get yourself right, it’s all up to you.
