I love the classes and instructors. There is a variety for all the members. The times work for daytime and to accommodate working members. Something for everyone.
Great feeling of community. More likely to attend if have friends in class too.
We like that we can come at just about any time of the day and do whatever exercise routines that we have established for ourselves.
I like the lazy river and the pool.
I love everything about the Platte County YMCA, but for the past month+ the therapy pool has only been open until 5:15. This makes it impossible for me to come with my daughter since she does not get off work until 5:00. It was a wasted month for me.
Other than that, the lifeguards are engaged and make the pools a positive experience for those who come for PT and those kids who come just for fun.

The staff is friendly, it is normally not too crowded. I would like to see some updated equipment in the weight room at some point.
The YMCA North is very friendly, clean and has nice people working there. All the employees are very helpful.

It has a good workout of machines to lift weights. It has an excellent swim area to workout and you have kids pool and lazy river which is very nice. It has a lot of classes you can get involved in to exercise.

The people at the front desk are cordial, friendly and informative. The women leading the Silver Sneakers exercise program are delightful and encouraging. I wish I had joined years ago.
