The swimming pool
Every piece of equipment is in working order! The pool is fantastic and my grandkids love to swim here.
Great workout facility. However the men's locker room needs a lot of deferred maintenance an cleaning done.
- shower curtains don't cover the entire width of the shower
- several tiles are missing in the shower from prior repairs.
- the benches are very stained and need to be sanded and revarnished or replaced.
- there is a strong musty oder that usually means mold is growing somewhere.

The YMCA is great, but I would like the sauna and steam room to not be closed between 1 and 4 pm.

Dude I taught my oldest child had to swim there and next week I'll be teaching my second oldest child to swim there I love that place I love that pool my family enjoys every time we come there
The staff is very friendly and the gym equipment is better than other locations I have gone to. My only complaint is that the pool is not heated and when I want to take my kids swimming it’s super cold.
I alwaya loving going to the NKC YMCA. It is truly a community center. I take fitness classes. I love seeing the kifs go to swim class. Then there are activities for Seniors. There is a welcome board with community news. It is close to downtown KC and in rhe heart of NKC.
Zumba classes and exercise equipment.
Parking lot still needs attention. If nothing else repaint the parking space stripes.
9am Saturday Zumba class should be held in a bigger room.
