I love that the North Kansas City YMCA is a melting pot of young and old, You see people of a variety of different cultures, speaking more languages than just English. I especially like the friendliness of the front desk staff and the instructors like for Zumba and barre. Finally, I like the pool and hottub area.
We have had a wonderful experience with the girls swim lessons. The head instructor was very informative & has always answered my questions. She even moved one of my kids up when she realized she wasn't being challenged in the level. I really appreciated it. We are looking forward to taking some classes & working out.

All ages, tremendous diversity that is very well managed. Things get hairy in summer with a lot of children around but it adds to the diversity. The management is, currently, on top of things. The desk staff is friendly and competent. I feel safe if I have a problem.
I wish the weight floor had a full time monitor, but in the early morning the people that come to work out are calm and patient, mostly. I wish the weekend hours were longer, particularly opening hours. a 7 am start would be preferable on Saturdays.
I enjoy visiting the YMCA in North Kansas City. Friendly staff and a very clean facility,Always a pleasant visit.
The gym is clean and the exercise equipment appears to be taken care of.

Its a great facility with many differenr exercise areas and loads of machines to work out on. Like the friends I have met there and most of all it helps keep me in shape.
