Mathnasium is a wonderful program which gives children confidence, and helps then to excel based on their individual needs.
My children LOVE Mathnasium. With one struggling child and one advanced child, the team at Mathnasium is able to meet both of their needs. The struggler says math is her "favorite" subject! My other child is not being challenged at school, and Mathnasium allows him to go at his own pace.
After several years of going to Mathnasium our views on the staff and the program have only improved. We initially started Mathnasium as a way to catch our kids up on things they missed due to the differences in instruction method between their previous school and Arlington. After 6 months they were easily caught up and now several years later the comment we most often hear is that school is easy since they have already done that type of problem in Mathnasium.
My 6th and 8th grader don't fight it and are more confident in math at school

Our daughter was set up for success in her HS freshman AP Math class, and told us it was all things that she did in Mathnasium over the summer.
Our daughter is a math wiz thanks to Mathnasium - we (her parents) did not have the skills to help her with her math homework after 5th grade. Your team made all of the difference. She is now graduating high school and her favorite class is - of course - math!

Director Nick is awesome! He’s been very patient in accommodating last minute changes to the schedule. Both my kiddos had As in math last quarter. The teachers are great.
Great Staff -- What they learn in Mathnasium is ahead of what they are learning in school so by the time they get to it in school they already understand most of it and when they run into something they don't remember/understand really well -- Mathnasium is always there for a refresher.
Most importantly is flexibility of staff during the last two years and working with us as our schedules change so the kids get their time.
It is an awesome program! Thank you for helping my kids.
Our 11 year old son actually looks forward to his sessions with his tutors at Mathnasium Arlington. He is keeping up with his understanding of all the Math that he is expected to do at school.

Both of our kids attended Mathnasium - and what a help it has been to them and to us! Our kids had tutors, but their tutors needed to focus on subjects other than Math and were better suited to tutoring subjects other than Math. So - Mathnasium provided help that we really needed.

Mathnasium is a fantastic resource. My son has a better grasp on the fundamentals because he has been going for so many years. The tutors are amazing and he really enjoys the sessions. I know that he is keeping up with this assignments because of the work they have done with him. His grades improved and he has more confidence.
My daughter loves mathnasium and heads in for tutoring 3x per week of her own volition. She struggles in math and the speed with which it is taught in APS. The tutors are both masterful in the subjects, caring and invested in their student outcomes. She comes home smiling after her sessions - laughing about the funny moments shared with her tutor and confident with the explanations she received for the academic challenges of the week. I recommend mathnasium to friends frequently and am very happy with their tutoring.
My son really enjoyed going to mathnasium and improving his math. The prospect of getting a prize kept up his motivation. The instructors worked really well with kids, and the program seemed pretty systematic with a baseline and follow up test to assess areas of need and progress.
Kids are always excited about going there. It’s like they are going to a park. They have made learning math fun for kids. I highly recommend this for parents whose kids struggle with math
