My children have benefitted tremendously from Mathnasium, both in getting back on track with math fluency and making significant advances. But the best part of having them be part of the program is hearing my daughter talking about how good she is in math (after losing all of that confidence in her school math experience over first and second grade) and why does she even need to go to Mathnasium (I told her all the smart kids go there BECAUSE they are good at math), at the same time both of my kids are fighting over who gets to sit with their favorite teachers each time. On one of his regular evenings, during the math SOL testing, I told my son that he could take that day off from Mathnasium and he elected to go anyway because he always enjoys that engagement. He is also very proud of himself for getting selected for Math 8 in 7th grade and I am happy because I know Mathnasium will make sure that he is successful there, just as it has for my daughter catching up and excelling in 3rd grade.
I don't know know you guys do this but my nine-year old daughter is actually really enjoying studying math for the first time in her life. She would go to Mathnasium every day if she had the chance.

My daughter loves going to Mathnasium. Her interest and passion for math is down to Mathnasium's calm and fun approach. She loves "working" alongside other, often older kids. The Mathnasium approach works well for her. Having conquered the original reason for attending (weak math), she's still keen to go to Mathnasium as an afternoon extra curricular activity. Difficult to believe, but she tells us: "I don't like Mathnasium, I love it".

My daughter loves Mathnasium. I thought that once she had overcome some initial difficulties she had with math, that she would want to stop going, but she enjoys it so much she asked to continue! She recently told me she would go to Mathnasium, even if there were no "prizes".

We are really happy with Mathnasium and very grateful they are in so close proximity. Both of my kids attend Mathnasium and they both like it (let's just say they either want to go or easily acquisence -- I put that in the Victory column.) We appreciate the flexibility of being able to bring either kid in at any point during hours of operation. We value the regular assessments to see where they are improving (and where they are not). Great organization.
