Our experience at the Mathnasium in Arlington, VA was amazing. Our daughter loved going, loved the staff and most importantly excelled in her math capability. We are moving to Hawaii, but the Mathnasium is on the far side of the island. Wish it was closer. recommend standing up a Mathnasium in Kapolei/ Ewa Area.
We enrolled our boys in Mathnasium for several reasons--our youngest son (1st grade) was not challenged in school, and this program has done just that. Our oldest son, although performing well in math in school had "gaps" in his knowledge that we knew would negatively impact him later (basic math concepts), and seemed to get flustered and experience test anxiety when he wasn't able to solve problems easily. Mathnasium has filled in the gaps, and given him the confidence he needed to perform well--even with more difficult problems or subjects (other than math). Both boys are thriving in school and recently accepted for gifted and talented services, and I think in part, this is due to the enrollment in Mathnasium.
The learning environment is nice balance between nurturing and challenging. My kids always come out smiling.

We like the way you teach for our kids in general. Also, the one on one which helps the student the most. We also appreciate the attitude and friendliness of all your staff. We have a very good experience with you than any other place that teach’s math.
Did a great job of going through math concepts my child couldn't grasp before. Incentive program kept her wanting to come back, and I would definitely use the program again next year!
