My son loves learning at Mathnasium. We have only been attending this summer, but the tutoring has already helped to build his confidence and shown him math can be fun. Hopefully he will enter 8th grade with a more solid foundation to build upon.

My daughter really enjoyed it. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. My daughter said that the staff was patient and explained concepts well. It was nice to have unlimited drop-ins and staff always available. Wish it was open more hours or more days a week. Parking can be tough. Would be nice to get progress reports for the parents.

We love mathnasium! My daughter already enjoyed math and wanted to learn even more. At mathnasium, her love of learning has increased even more! I didn’t think it was even possible.
Mathnasium-Point Loma was an amazing experience for our daughter! Her confidence level in math really improved throughout her fifth grade year. She came in thinking she "wasn't as good as her brother in Math" and now boasts that Math is her best subject. She developed an advanced thought process and strategy to working through problems. Her test scores visibly improved, but even more important was her confidence in herself and her ability to work through the problems.

Very flexible and has helped my 5th grader- excellent, friendly tutors!
My daughter's math skills are improving. My only two wishes are: 1) Tutors do better to prevent the distractions by the kids who don't want to stay focused. Not an easy job, but may need to remind them to focus on their work, or tell the parents if they become too distracting. The kids aren't robots and need breaks, but sometimes I see kids who are distracting the other kids too much. 2) Encourage the kids to let the tutors know which types of math problems they struggle with on tests so they can focus on those, bearing in mind that it's the kids' responsibility to tell the tutor.
My children ask to go whenever they can! They now love math and are receiving much higher test scores directly related to mathnasium.
I’m very grateful to the individualized attention each instructor gives my boys.
This also frees time for us as a family to focus on our relationship getting stronger vs me yelling at them to do their homework. All around good!
