The student I took to mathnasium was failing her school math class. She was very far behind. Within 5 months she was passing math and getting A/Bs on her tests. Her attitude and confidence has greatly improved as well. She really likes going there.

My son comes from a divorced family and his mother wanted him to take a lower-level math. I suggested getting a tutor through Mathnasium. My son has worked with John from the beginning of this year and I'm happy to report he went from a C to a current A grade. He reports more confidence and enjoys working with John. My daughter looks forward to mathnasium every week. When i pick her up she talks my ear off a out how many worksheets she finished and what strategies she is learning. She loves knowing different ways to do math and uses this in school all the time. She even teaches some of her peers and helps them with math in class. She struggled in school and wished she could do better in math. Our luckiest day was winning the raffle at school for a free month at mathnasium. It changed her life and her self esteem and confidence too. They really feel like part of the family.
Melissa was the best part. She made me as a busy parent feel relaxed and cared for - and that my kids were in good hands. I will say that the kids complained they did not have much 1:1 w/ tutors and the "fun" element was missing - but I guess I myself had fun dropping them off and Melissa was a delight!
