Student Testimonials
I have enjoyed my 1 week free. As of yesterday I came to the conclusion that I need way more foundational instruction. My wrist hurts today because I may have practiced a pose out of alignment. I feel need Yoga these days to stay balanced. I am also interested in the 200 hours certification via the BIPOC scholarship or cleaning for classes. Thank you for your support Core Power Yoga : H St Location DV
The classes are high energy, I love the themes for yoga sculpt!
I first tried CorePower Yoga using the free week and was hooked! I like the variety of classes and teachers, which made it an easy choice to sign up for an unlimited membership. Also, I’ve never sweat so much in a workout class until finding CorePower yoga.
The community
The humidity and temperature plus great teachers.
Core Power makes working out fun!
This was an overall great experience. The instructor was kind and pushed the right amount while not making you feel bad for breaks or anything. It was a hard class but that was what was expected.
Everyone at the west loop location is authentic and leads a great class. Comfortable learning environment. Always a fun time and I leave feeling refreshed.
Ashley G is awesome! Very sweet
The manager and coordinators are so wonderful, you can really feel the community at NE. Classes are always packed, energy good, and all are welcome 💕
Would love a core restore class
The new batch of teachers are doing really great - Gabby, Lily and Taylor. PLEASE bring back 6 am sculpt on Mondays - 5:30 is just too early. Shawnee is the best.
Love Jim! He's the best
Sarah Shimion is an outstanding teacher, well versed in traditional, ancient hot yoga postures. She welcomes and encourages all participants offering words of wisdom along with appropriate cueing for each posture.
She is a master teacher, ensuring that all leave feeling elevated to a better place.

Took my first class with Rachel S at the Williamsburg studio and was thoroughly pleased with the pace and environment. I personally love hot yoga and the ability to move through the flows from basic instruction at the beginning to challenging myself by the end of the class left me feeling satisfied and ready for more. Will definitely be returning to her class soon. And great music selection as well!
Great workouts and great instructors! I’ve loved every single class I’ve been too and I like how each instructor has their own style and keeps the same class type interesting with all the exercises. I like how all the classes are structured and there’s always options to challenge yourself so that the classes never get boring or easy! Great music choices too.
I’ve only been to one CorePower location but everyone was friendly and welcoming. The studio was not intimidating at all and it’s nice to see all kinds of people walk into class. I think CorePower has something for everyone!
It was an amazing class one of the best I've ever been to, can't wait for the next time!
I like doing yoga with well trained instuctors in a warm room
Sculpt.
very nice and efficient class
I truly love CorePower Williamsburg and want to start by saying how grateful I am for the community and the incredible instructors. There are so many teachers I consistently learn from, and that’s the reason I’ve remained such a loyal member.
As we head into the new year, I wanted to share one piece of feedback that has been weighing on my experience. The changing rooms feel very out of alignment with what otherwise is an elevated, yoga experience. The curtains simply aren’t wide enough, and there are often visible gaps on either side where others are able to see in while you’re changing right in the lobby. That lack of privacy makes it difficult to feel fully safe and comfortable in the space.
With memberships nearing $270 per month and without any real benefits (no complimentary mat or towel service), I think it’s reasonable to expect changing rooms that feel secure, thoughtfully designed, and respectful of personal privacy. Right now, that part of the studio experience feels surprisingly low-quality compared to the rest of what CorePower offers.
I share this with care and honesty, because it really makes me uncomfortable and I rely on them to change when coming to yoga after work.
Improving the changing rooms would make a meaningful difference in how supported and respected members feel, and it would go a long way in bringing the overall experience in line with CorePower’s standards.
Thank you so much for taking this feedback into consideration, and I truly hope it’s something that can be addressed in the new year. <3
Olyvia and her team of yoga professionals are great. It’s a very welcoming studio, and has a good energy about it. I drive 25 minutes just to go to this location.
Great studio! I'm relatively new and the instructions were clear and I felt that they were encouraging everyone the whole time. What a positive experience!
Bucktown is the best CPY in Chicago!! I love Monika and Darcie!!
Love Molly & Magen’s weekend sculpt classes
Great community- great classes!
The community class is a yoga treat and Colin in my new guru inspiration!
Lots of opportunity to work out. AMAZING teachers! Fantastic community!
I was visiting from out of town so this is not my usual studio. Anyways, I found this to be a very clean and welcoming studio and in a great location. When there was a scheduling mishap with a class without a teacher I thought Olyvia handled it as smoothly as possible.

everything!
