Student Testimonials
I like corepower yoga. It's only limitation is the lack of more core strength classes
The instructors (Xuyen and Cristen are great!) and the different options of class types. I also like the encinitas studio vibe
Excellent yoga workout
I get my heart rate up, and I'm getting stronger. Also, the instructors are welcoming, fun and supportive.
I love the 6am yoga sculpt- the teachers are awesome and it is such a great workout!
Karinne is the best teacher I’ve ever had!
Heat and instructors
Friendly environment. Great choice of class schedules. Great choice of workout type. Great Instructors.
Friendly staff
Instructor Eli was sooo good ,, very hard class but rewarding and Eli made it fun !!!
As usual, the staff is great. Whomever got the idea to use a ketchup type bottle for the water bottle to spray our yoga mats should get a raise.
Great teachers
They do great job at that spot
I love and enjoy all of the classes at Corepower and the each instruct is individual and always provides the best experience. I would and always suggest Core Power as the best place to practice.
Been going to core power for probably 10-12 years! Started back in Denver and love it!!
Clean inviting studio to practice in
The sculpt teachers literally tore a cheeseburger right off of my glutes! I never walk away feeling like I need a second class to get a full workout.
I am enjoying coming to this studio. Loren Ko and Xuyen classes are the best. Loren always has a different flow and gives 120%. Xuyen HPF is the best as I like how she heats the room and increases the level of intensity.
I like that there has been some variety with Katie B teaching on Wednesdays and that there will be 75 minutes C2 every two weeks on Sundays With Loren Ko.
Courtney C1 class is amazing. She showed us step by step how to chaturanga-to upward dog-to downward dog. The playtime for crow pose was challenging but Courtney demonstrated all options. It was a great practice! Her music also fun during core exercises.
My visit on 2/15/24 was my first time doing an 'official' in house yoga class (I've done others via dvd many moons ago). I visited on a buddy pass so I had a little bit of knowledge of what to expect. The instructor was awesome. The class was great. My buddy did mention it was "hot yoga", however, I was NOT expecting that level of intense heat. I believe the thermostat was set to 99 degree. Anywho, I really enjoyed it. The studio was clean. Everyone seemed pleasant. The class went at an easy enough pace for me to mostly keep up. I myself am, unfortunately, not in the greatest shape plus I have some very recent lower back pain, calf strain, & knee pain (beginner pickle ball injuries) so I was forced to improvise on a lot of the movements. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. I think at my current fitness level I probably could've just stretched in the 'sauna' for an hour & felt great. haha
Lastly, We arrived a bit late so I didn't get to tour the facility. We went straight into the classroom & after the class was over we went straight to the parking lot.
The classes, instructors , music, the frequency of class times and locations. I like the energy.
I don’t really like it when the class is max at full capacity, it’s hard to get a good workout in because the mats are so close. Sometimes so close that a stranger sweaty butt/foot is in your face or yours in someone else’s. In the maxed out sculpt classes sweat is flying everywhere during exercises like jumping Jax. I’ve had a strangers foot dangling and dripping sweat on my face during happy baby. The tight mat to mat classes makes the class uncomfortable and I’m not sure I will continue if the classes are maxed out regularly.
It's so clean and the studios are beautiful rooms with large windows, surrounded by eucalyptus trees!
The staff and instructors were extremely friendly and supportive when I had questions. The classes that I took were all amazing. The instructor pushed us all to do our best and I’ve ever had a better workout. The Encinitas facility was clean and very nice.
Friendly, welcoming and life changing.
It has changed my life
I love starting my day on my mat
Amazing practice and experience
Loved loved loved the Sound Bath! Hope to continue to see special classes and workshops on the schedule. I can't wait to attend more in the future!
I’m confident that I can say Encinitas is my FAVORITE core power location! I love everything about it. The classes here will I’m sure, deliver EXACTLY what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for some exercise that is transcending.
The instructors are so efficient, informative and helpful. Classes are excellent with their guidance 😊.
They are so sweet and lovely to boot. I highly recommend this location!
Wonderful, upbeat and welcoming team at the reception desk. Loved the C2 with Elizabeth, deliberate and focused. The build up towards a pose made me feel safe.

Love all of the classes at CorePower. Sculpt with Lauren was so hard in a very good way!! Great energy
