Corepower yoga is a great yoga studio if you like the more intense side of yoga. If you like yoga to be more of a workout rather than a calming spiritual connection to your body, I would recommend Corepower. It would be nice to incorporate some Yin classes to balance out all of the high power yoga classes Corepower offers. I had a really great introduction class with my free week which is also an amazing offer. Kristen F was the instructor and she asked me before I went into class if I had any injuries or concerns, it just so happens I am dealing with a neck and TMJ issue. I let her know my concern and she kept an eye on me through class and incorporated poses and stretches that catered to my issues. The instructor taking that kind of initiative is so important. The second class I attended I didn't really care for the instructor, I don't want an entertainer as my yoga instructor, I want someone who cares about her class and what she's teaching. Its a beautiful studio and I do enjoy it. Thanks!

Love all my Austin CorePower studios!
Lately the studio space has been loud before class with lotsa visiting going on. It sounds like the happy excited buzz of friends and has not bothered me, but I have noticed when others who are irritated try to shush the chatter, they don't have much success. It seems like a bummer for those yogis to not have the anticipated quiet space.

I am always greeted by a friendly team member, and the class/Joel was fantastic!
The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I was visiting the area for a conference and intended to pay the day fee for the class I took. They let me take the class for free and even gave me a yoga mat and towel. The class was much more intense than I was used to but it was a great workout and the instructor was very good.

I love yoga sculpt and the results. And the focus is on being strong not skinny. My only concern is how often the weights are cleaned because they always seem sweaty from the previous person.
I've been a CPY member for years. It's great to have a familiar studio when I'm traveling; sculpt at Monarch was a slightly different format than I am used to and I liked it!
I love it all, the trainers, the concept. I just wish you had more products for men! Like the longer Manduka Pro matt.

Your studio has a special community vibe and the three classes I took all had incredible teachers with great cues.
I enjoy the great instructors, variety of classes, and modern and well kept studios. I also like the clothing and retail. I buy almost all my yoga clothes at your studios. :)
The studio is always clean. You have showers that have shampoo conditioner and body wash! And Youngjae is an amazing instructor! By far the best instructor I've ever had!

i loved the classes and instructors as well as the flexibiilty with the number of classes and not having to sign up ahead of time. additionally, everyone is very helpful when you come to check in at a class.
I LOVE the teachers and studios at Monarch. Specific shout outs to First name removed Hughes, Laura Hill, Jennifer Ro, IRael, Joel (think he is mostly at Triangle now?), Megan Mac, and Jenny!
I also love how spacious the locker room is.

The people teaching
I love the knowledge and positive customer service. And the sessions are always invigorating. The studio is also clean and I like having quality bathroom products. However I am a social worker and so going is only an occasional treat for me because of the cost. If there was a therapeutic discount that would be so awesome.
