Maka is a gifted speaker with a beautiful, warm, soulful voice. She wrung out my entire body. I was thanking her all day long for releasing something that had been stuck in my lower back. Maka is a gift to Core Power and all who are fortunate enough to be scooped up in her caring hands. Not many people find their calling.Mala certainly did and we are all fortunate to learn from her. THE TEACHERS ARE THE BEST AND ENJOY THE ENERGY AND FLOW! TEACHERS LIKE LIANN, CAMBRIE, THERESA, SAMMY E, CHELSEA, KAREN, SCARLETT, KUULEI, JUST TO NAME A FEW.
The classes fit perfectly the level of training I need by providing me both strength and flexibility. There are ample classes so I can fit them into my schedule.
Great energy, class pace, and music
Both Maka and Sammy were excellent sculpt instructors! We were visiting from California, and Sammy was very friendly, personable, and welcoming! We enjoyed our experience at this studio.
When I go to CorePower Ward location I feel like part of a community. It's so easy to book classes online and there are a bevy of classes and times available. I'm always greeted with smiles and have never ever regretted getting on my mat at CorePower Ward Village.
I felt motivated and included during the entire class. Everyone was very welcoming.
I LOVE IT!!!! Finishing up my free week and going to get a monthly membership. Koryn was awesome and Mareen. Awesome job love their enthusiasm and helping teach. (I am extremely new to it all) They both made the experience so easy and fun.
I love the convenience of the location (I live in Kahala), the different levels and format of classes, wonderful instructors and warm community.
If there is one compliant, I have recently encountered people speaking on their cell phones inside the studio while waiting for class to start. I find this intrusive especially before yoga classes as it is time to unwind and prepare our minds for our practice. (It is tolerable before sculpt because of the louder music, noise and different energy.) Maka mentioned this once at the beginning of class, and I really I appreciated that. I hope that there could be more spreading of awareness regarding etiquette.
Also, I wish that C3 would be offered again at Kahala and that seasoned instructors such as Theresa, Suzanne, Melissa, Maka, Bonnie taught more classes at Kahala.
Having said this, I love CorePower Hawaii and can’t live without it!

Everyone had always been very nice and friendly. studio is clean and parking is great.
Grateful to the teachers and the options for classes. For the classes that get full, could students be reminded to stick to the mat markers. Could the markers be re- evaluated? Are some missing? It’s unsettling to get to class 5 min before start and there are no spots. Not all students are friendly. It’s hard to ask the teacher to come and ask people to move when you have to go change and scrounge up weights. Could we get more weights ? For a full class, 5# is missing. 8# are gone by 2/3 full class. Corporate- it’s not fair Ward had to wait 4 weeks for heat to get repaired. I don’t know how much of our monthly goes to pay for facilities but we pay a lot. You should’ve given us something. You didn’t even apologize for the delay.
