i like doing business with local companys. Been going to santikos since late 70’s, when galaxy was like 6 screens. Embassy opened when i was in middle school i think, its my favorite theatre

Santikos offers a great movie experience - good food, clean theaters. Definitely recommend going to Embassy Theater

What did you like about your Santikos experience?

What I like the most about Santikos is they are the only movie theater chain in the San Antonio area where I can feel safe by allowing me to carry my concealed handgun as an armed citizen licensed to carry by the State of Texas.

What did you like about your Santikos experience?

The movie theatre is a lot cleaner then it used to be. I can remember times before the recliner seating was installed(long time ago, I know), when I would walk in your theatres and my shoes would stick to the concrete. Sometimes there would be trash bags over seats with like an out of order sign on it. Your staff has done a good job of keeping it clean, so far. Concession stand prices don’t bother me because I know what movie studios do to you. Concessions are part of the movie experience. Regardless Santikos is part of San Antonio. I will always choose Santikos.

What did you like about your Santikos experience?

I love the feel of this theater. From the seats that recline to the spacious isles. My only concern is out in the parking lot recently... the last couple times we visited, when we came out one gentleman’s truck had been burglarized and he was parked within the first three spots up front. Then last PM my daughter and I saw Mary Poppins and when we came out two guys were walking across the parking lot looking at a Lexus up front. Looked very suspicious and got a bad vibe . I know it’s parking at your own risk but the risk seems higher than usual.

Good prices, great seats, but most of all Santikos is a charity that gives back 100% of its profits to the City of San Antonio.

What did you like about your Santikos experience?

I love Santikos. I work in the film industry with all the major theater chains, but when it's time to go to a movie, Santikos is ALWAYS my theater of choice. Especially Embassy. I love the staff, the feel of it. It feels glamorous without being overwhelming. (I don't always love crowds - sometimes I do but not always.)

It honestly feels like 'our' theater. :)

I love the service. My son requested milk, yet we were unsure if the milk was flavored. My son tried the milk and found it too sweet and the bar tender changed for water.

Seats are comfy. See great in the small theaters. Don’t like the extra fee now that you HAVE to reserve online in order to get a spot before all the seats are gone. Should not be a few for that
