I do the Saturday and Sunday 12.15 classes atm with instructors Will and Sarah. It has been a positive in my life. Thank you.
- Lack of instruction on how to use and adjust Pilates machines. You could offer a ten minute to trial and new members and at least show people around the studio.
- I feel like a number, and lack of continuous contact. The studio feels a bit like a sausage factory that opens its doors and shuts immediately after. I don't even feel I have the time to take a shower after class.
- Lack of flexibility. I asked if I could extend the Annual pass discount until I received a diagnosis and advice from my specialist (foot). I explained that I can't commit until I get more info, and if I committed I could be spending a lot of money for classes that I can't use. No option for an extension, and seemingly no interest or care for the individual - just for the bottom-line
- Souli should more focus on teaching and on talking. She directed all of the teachings to the middle of the room only: 1/ Demonstrations in the middle or against the windows, so I could only see her back (not great for my first class); 2/ Directions were given to the middle of the room often with her back to the people at the front.
I missed some of the minimal instructions given and had just laid there waiting for the next pose. I felt like I was a burden trying to get her attention (between her talking) so I could get clarity on what I couldn't see or hear.
I asked her at the end of class, if "I wasn't feeling the moves, did I not do them correctly?" She simply "No" and shook her head. That was it. Nothing further said. No constructive feedback, nothing. How could she when she was focused not on her class, but on her long rant about the Hemsworth's.
Ambiance. Teachers. Music.
I’ve been to the Byron BML. The staff is very helpful and approachable. The teachers are ABSOLUTELY incredible!!
You need a yin clsss every night.
Christie’s Matt class is epic ❤️
Teacher was nice, but the class wasn’t challenging at all. That’s fine, but it was billed as “not for beginners”, so I was hoping for an actual workout/strong practice.
Loved it.
Clean facilities and high quality teachers.
Helpful and friendly
Noelle is the most incredible teacher ! The best class I have ever done
I did a Yin yoga class on Wednesday night and the teacher was looking at her mobile for a large amount of the time during poses. This landed for me as highly unprofessional and that she wasn’t truly engaged with the class and the individual needs of the participants. I was really disappointed with the lack of presence and space holding which really makes or breaks a yoga class - and I could really sense her lack of interest in truly engaging. It was clear she was browsing casually for personal reasons. This was my second class on a 2 week class pass and I was underwhelmed. I normally don’t complain or give negative feedback on my experiences however this was a disappointing experience - Considering you guys market yourselves as having world class teachers, I am surprised.
Variety and frequency of classes, location, studio cleanliness and staff.
Very professional and super effective pilates
Great environment! Clean and tidy.
Variety classes and they all very challenging.
It’s a pleasure to have a chance to experience a great studio such a Bodymindlife.
Great studios and teachers.
The studios amazing and the girl at the front desk was lovely.
The amount of classes and time options are way better compared to other places in Bondi however I didn’t really vibe the teacher or her class in my Trail class. she wasn’t very warm and I her class was pretty weak compared to other yoga studio. She kept on saying we are stretching out our arms and heart today but all the poses are intended for stretching out your legs and hips. It was a bit confusing and she felt quite intense. Compared to the typical yin teach that’s warm, soft and kind.
I would recommend the studio to someone but I don’t think I’ll do her class again.

I started yoga classes at the new Byron Bay studio and unfortunately I have seen several times one of the teacher playing with her phone while everyone is in the shavasana. It’s really sad and disappointed. I joint Body Mind studio for several years in Bondi but I’m not interested to be part anymore. I found it completely disrespectful.
It was listed as a hot class but the instructor decided not to turn on the heat... which was a bit disappointing... I didn’t feel like she was really there to hold space for her students, it was more like a show of her flexibility
I really should have said "not at all likely", as I'd like to keep it for myself!
1. High standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and adherence to the present guidelines
2. Friendliness and a genuinely helpful atmosphere from staff
3. The clientele
A better app for the phone.
Calm
Excellent teachers
Vicki was terrific. The workout was challenging and relaxing. I'll definitely be back.
The people are very friendly and helpful.
I just feel great after doing a class!
Studios are beautiful and clean, and the teachers are world class! Will was a beast today and challenged us with a strong asana. Loved it!
I love souli’s pilates classes. By far the best enjoyable as well as a great workout

Good facilities and good teachers
