Have been going to Creature for many years and decided it was time to try BML.
Lovely studio and facilities and classes different to Creature.
I did 6 classes over 2 weeks and was lucky enough to do 2 fantastic classes with Lara, an outstanding teacher. She deserves many more classes.
Could I also suggest setting up a mind body app to book a class as the website is cumbersome to book on.
Many thanks

Facilities and teachers
The venue is superb and so are the staff. Instructors are very helpful and communicate well
Clean professional and relaxing
I loved the instructor! As a beginner going to a harder class, Tash was amazing
great teachers. good variety from teacher to teacher.
I enjoy the combination of Yoga and pilates offered at BML. For me, they work so well together. I like the number of classes on offer and the way I can always find something that fits into my work day.
Since the new manager, Michael arrived the business is running like a well-oiled machine. I feel like the facilities are neat, clean and I can feel the TLC and pride he puts into what he does.
Pilates and yoga flow class after or around 6pm every weekday evening (currently only Tuesday/Thursday @ 6:30 and yoga has now moved to 5:30 weeks which makes it impossible to attend after work)
Pilates weekend afternoon clasa
I don't like the studio, I'm there because of the trainers. The place doesn't open the windows, so the practice room is always smelling terrible. The floors are always dirty once I saw the same dead fly on the floor for over 2 weeks. Another problem is when early morning classes are canceled without an option with the same trainer.
Quality of the instruction, proximity to home.
A great number of classes offered
Good quality teachers
Value for money
Well appointed
Sufficient parking
Easy booking platform
Seamless entry
Staff great teachers great facilities
Fabulous teachers and a beautiful space to practice in .. love it
Teachers are fabulous. Caring and smart. Lots of class times. Great equipment and space.
Your Pilates align classes are described to be for people with injuries - the instructors need to be qualified to give support and provide adaptations. I went to a few classes recently, each time I reported I had neck and shoulder issues. One instructor didn’t give me an alternative option (I just did my own thing), the other gave the option of a side plank on the knees to the class. It was obvious I couldn’t do it (I had to stop), yet I wasn’t given anything else. Why would an instructior give someone with neck and shoulder issues an exercise that weight bears on the shoulder?? I have since strained an additional muscle in my neck and upper shoulder. Instructors need to be more responsible and equipped to know what’s appropriate and provide alternatives.
The space is so beautiful!
I feel a sense of welcome and relaxation as soon as I walk in the door
The trainers are amazing and push you to continually improve your practice
The selection of class time, warmth of staff, cleanliness of stupid.
i only do Pilates, I love teachers with their different style, so it never gets boring and the wonderful feeling of community they create. Of course I love the actual classes as well.
I like a lot about BML. One suggestion is that the restriction on booking classes while membership is self-suspended (because of holidays etc) should not apply. When one can only book a week ahead and classes fill up early, a 1 week suspension effectively means a 2 week suspension.
As a first timer, I liked the atmosphere of the studio - the peaceful ambience and the cleanliness. The class I did with Mel was beautiful, she is a very genuine person and teacher, made me feel very safe, supported and nurtured.
Only tiny criticism - as a new customer to the Bondi studio, I wasn't given much instruction as to where facilities or yoga room was. Had to ask and wasn't given any info on covid safe procedures - using towels for props etc. As a yoga teacher myself I just assumed that this would be expected so took a towel anyway. Maybe its just me but would appreciate a bit more clarity around studio etiquette at BML so I feel comfortable and knowledgable.
Thank you for a lovely experience.
Since Michael has been on the front desk at Bondi, things have changed, the feng shui is good. Michael is very kind, helpful and very friendly.
I love the way you have handles the coronavirus and kept everyone safe and able to practice yoga.
I also love the teachers, the studio and the timetable.
The place, the class, the service.... It was a great experience :)
I really enjoyed the yoga class however it is only on during the middle of the day at the Potts point location. This is really hard for me to get to as I have to work. I was really surprised that there were no other classes schedule either in the morning or the evening. I did a couple of reformer class that I enjoyed however found the varied a lot from instructor to instructor. I went to a class where 95% of the class couldn’t do the moves (pretty intense) that the instructor had set and was disappointed she didn’t seem to want to modify her class. Also a side note (this is to all gyms not just you) I really appreciate it when instructors give you the chance to discuss injuries when you come in and not in front of the whole class. I purposely spoke to an instructor privately about my injuries because I don’t love everyone knowing my business - but then she announced it in front of everyone anyway. Didn’t love that.
Awesome classes and teachers!
Great environment and great team.
The studio is lovely - well equipped and bright and welcoming. But more important is the instructor I had - Robyn. I am new to Pilates and a woman over 60 who is unfit and inflexible - but trying to do something about it. Although I mention to each instructor that this is the case, along with injuries, it is not always that I find this is taken into account in class. Not that I am looking for 'special treatment' - that in itself would be mortifying. Simply an instructor who is able to pay attention to the whole class and spot where someone might be struggling a bit, or not understand the movement etc, and is then able to discreetly assist and advise where a movement might be modified. Robyn was able to do that and I would say she is not just a good instructor, but more importantly, a good teacher.
I live in the Woollahra area and there are many like me - with a bit more time on our hands to actually be able to turn attention to working on our basic fitness levels, strengthening and balance. This is iimportant at our age, and for women in particular with the threat of osteoporosis. Maybe there is a market for classes that are specifically tailored for this, with a teacher who has knowledge of how the body changes over this time and specific needs.
Best yoga essentials instruction I’ve had. Instructors are experienced and guide students through positions, including all the major and minor adjustments that improve positioning and movement. As an older woman who isn’t quite as flexible as she used to be, I don’t feel “out of place”. The classes are geared to people of all levels.
There’s a real community feel in the studio. Teachers are awesome wity lots of variety. The studio is always very clean.

Repairs take too long. Too expensive. Drop in quality of instructors. Do not think I’ll renew my membership
