the staff
Great studios - lots of choice of studios and times like the fact I can go to any. Excellent teachers - every single one is very good with their own style and ways of teaching. No class is the same even if you attend Essentials more than once in a week. Clean, spacious changing rooms. Lovely staff at the desks. Good locations.
It is a nice space, passionate teachers
Personable , available , variety of classes
Friendly and efficient receptionist as well as patient and clear instruction from the class leader
Please don't heat every single yoga class to 30 degrees. Why is that necessary?
Please train teachers to give multiple variations of poses for different skills levels. Sometimes the variations given are only for advanced intermediate and very advanced - no true intermediate or advanced beginner variation.
The locker room at the Surry Hills location often smells terrible - like sweat and B.O. Better ventilation and/or more frequent cleaning would be great.
Simple format. Good instructors. Easy booking.
I hope you don't mind my honest feedback.....
I have found that some teachers made people within a class feel bad for attending open yoga classes. I find this frustrating as I do yoga to relax, zone out from stress, stretch and have time to myself for some part of the day. I often attend open classes as they suit my time schedule from when I get home from work or on my weekends.
I don't enjoy going to a open yoga class where the instructor rants on about how people should be in essential classes. People are already aware they they need to practice their poses they don't need to made to feel bad by the instructor. I understand people may be more inclined to develop injury's when they are unfamiliar with certain poses. However I think the open classes should be more open to people or lack experience or might be starting up yoga again after time away from it. I think there is more to yoga than perfecting yoga moves. Sometimes I get think the class's lack authentic yoga philosophy and it feels like a competitive yoga class.
I bought my friend to a open class and she walked out not wanting to come back with the way the instructor talked to the class. It was not a positive, uplifting experience.
I do really enjoy the Yin classes and find the instructor Persia Juliet Rutchinski a really calming teacher.
The teachers are always welcoming when I sign in at the studio
I hope you don't mind my honest feedback, it would just be nice not to have to experience some of the yoga teachers with an ego at the studio.
Thanks.
More individual attention in class, especially when you have stated you are new and would like help

All is perfect!
Alex is amazing on a Saturday morning. A great way to start the weekend. And Carla has the perfect approach for a Wednesday morning before work.
I old the small classes and the use equipment.
All the live live
the teachers are great, the staff are friendly and helpful
Yoga quality
My teacher (joe) was absolutely amazing - great teacher.
The last few classes I have done (admittedly I haven't done a lot in the last six months) have been okay but not amazing...
I put this down to the teachers. Maybe I have been spoilt in the past and muy standards are high though.
The instructors are the best! Vee & Cloe especially.
more room at bondi campus
I like the location (I've only been to Surry Hills, so can't speak for the other locations), the aesthetics of the place, the facilities are really good and clean and I always feel welcomed.
The fabulous yoga and pilates teachers!
It would be great to have a 6pm on Friday class and more 4pm and 5pm classes throughout the week.
Consistency of teachers - there are a couple of great teachers like Troy and Vicki S but some that are less inspiring.
It would be great to get Alison Bruton teaching there, she teaches across the other studios but not Redfern.
A greater number of longer classes - 75 and 90 mins.
More opportunity to practise Yin, not late at night
Great studio and instructors!
I think it is over priced.
Friendly competent staff
Love the teachers. Atmosphere. Studio has a warm feel.
