Great facilities and great atmosphere from all the teachers there
Teachers and studio
Excellent and very friendly instructors and staff
Everything
The place is nice, have a peaceful vibe, the teachers are good. Is a good. Keep doing!
More class times for beginners
Ange mitchell
The instructors - especially Ivan Barrios
The environment- very relaxing
Love the classes and teachers. The only thing I would request is don't charge annual members for mats. I mean the off day that I forget mine it's a pity that I got called out in front of everyone who was checking in and asked to pay for a mat...even though I've been a member for two years now!
Nice studio
Good teachers
The teachers are very professional
Great environment, excellent varied teachers. Need to be careful for new members to warn them how advanced some classes can be
I love BML alot - maybe more class on the weekends in the afternoons......please :-)
The Kirrawee teachers are wonderful - very knowledgeable and caring and challenge students to improve their practice. The Pilates classes are always different, keeping it interesting and physically challenging. I look forward to going 3-4 times each week and have improved my skills, posture and flexibility over the past 4 months.
The facilities are excellent as well. Everything is clean and aesthetically pleasing.
I would definitely recommend the studio to anyone!
Beautiful Redfern studio. Incredible teachers. Carla and Vee are such good pilates teachers. I've only recently started yoga again and Vicki's and Oceane's class are next level. Ocean's yin class is nourishment for the soul. I also love the diversity of offerings with Maria's singing class (despite the fact that I'm terrible at it).
Number of classes. Variety of teachers. Clean space
It’s close to home, and great insructors!
It’s impossible to book classes.
The website is not effective to book classes and means I am wasting my membership.
I’m paying weekly fees and unable to book into a class.
Being able to get into a class and friendly helpful staff
Great instructors, regular and varied classes
Ease and flexibility of booking, classes throughout the day and friendly teachers.
I don't practice yoga as I have a wrist problem - I wish I could,
Easy access to book classes and the place is clean and staff are very helpful
Nice staff, great instruction.
Generally I really like BML, in particular the Redfern studio. There is quite a good community feel to it. And the studio space is magic with its view over the park and trees, especially in the early morning when the sun comes up.
I appreciate that there is a good amount of yoga and Pilates classes each day, and it’s helpful that there are early morning classes, which makes it easy to practise daily, despite my hectic full time job in the city.
Most teachers are fantastic, and it‘s great to have regular yoga teachers over the years such as Vicki Smart, Vicky Chapman and Mandy. What a shame that we lost Kate Dambach to the Egg. Some of the new teachers at Redfern are great and make up for the loss, for example Johnny Vasili. I’d love to have more classes at Redfern with Naya Marie and Norma Nelson (amazing teachers!!!)
Fantastic Pilates teachers too - especially Aneta, Monique, Tom Conroy. Please bring Crisen back to early morning Redfern classes!
What can be improved is the look and feel of the Redfern studio. We pay the same amount of membership for all studios, but yet I feel the Redfern studio is not as well looked after as the other studios, especially when Amie is away (like now). Amie seems to be the only one who makes sure there‘s a „loving touch“ to the space.
Sometimes repair work is obviously needed but nothing happens for a long time.
One other point is the studio etiquette. It would be great if the teachers could enforce the “no shoes” in the yoga hall. That’s gross.
And my pet hate are the people who arrive early on their mat and then chat loudly with their friends - why can’t they do that in the common area at reception instead of annoying others who arrive early to meditate and tune in?
All in all, I love the Redfern studio and I always recommend it to friends and colleagues. Thanks for keeping up the good work over the years :-)
Everything. I love body mind life and feel very loyal to the studio.
I do feel there are a lot of younger teachers on the roster at the moment and their classes would not always be my first choice, but I understand they would need to be nurtured and cultivated and do enjoy the classes mostly.
I like the diversity of the classes and teachers, the quality is the best I’ve experienced. I adore the class timings - straight front school drop off to the mat or reformer.
The tea is a nice touch though there is often no clean mugs (I should bring mybown Keep cup)
There’s so much to love. I had to finish work in may and leave a career that I loved to focus on ongoing cancer treatment and BML has become a second home for me each morning. Without wanting to sound too dramatic - I actually can’t imagine my current life without it.
I’ve been coming to Body mind life off and on for over 10 years now. The design of the studios the caliber of the instruction and the ease of booking classes all make the experience one I really enjoy
I’m really enjoying the Pilates align classes. The teachers are all lovely and it’s a great atmosphere.
Also I’m a Bondi local so it’s very convenient for me to get to the studio.

For bodymindlife, the locations are mainly around the city or the coast lines. I live inner Sydney, the travel from work to Redfern for classes and the travel back home after it’s just a bit too long. Need more than an hour traveling time. Would be great if you can open up more branches at inner Sydney like around Strathfield, Parramatta area. Lots of residents live around the area and a lot of people would like to go to your classes..and easy parking around the branch like Redfern. Thank you
