Henry was very personable and knowlegable. Even though we have two dogs and one is quite anxious, Henry went out of his way to make them feel comfortable.
Josh was very thorough. He called me (as I live out of state) told some very important things about the house I was thinking about buying. The report he sent me was so detailed and the pictures were so very helpful. I will us he again in the future

When I'm on site with client, I would prefer, though, if I were the one to recommend vendors. I have had not great experiences with the vendor Matt recommended. There are some vendors where because they have a hammer, everything looks like a ($25,000) nail. There might be equal options that would give the same level of liability protection but with a reasonable price tag that doesn't kill a deal or force me to contradict the recommendation.

We used AmeriSpec Inspection Services twice. The first house we were going to buy turned out not to be a good buy after all after we saw our inspection report. The report was thankfully very detailed, and contained numerous items that the seller did not want to fix and we didn't want to take on, so that purchase fell through as a result. Thank goodness we found out ahead of time.
The house we did end up purchasing was a newly built home and at first we weren't sure that we would have it inspected. Thankfully our realtor encouraged us to do so and we used AmeriSpec again for that house. The resulting inspection report found many issues that we hadn't noticed on our own that needed to be fixed by the builder. I think the builder was surprised at the number of issues that were noted but agreed to fix all of them prior to the closing. Some of these issues could have caused major damage years down the road, but now we can rest easy knowing that they have been handled in a timely manner.

Our inspector, David Furry, was wonderful. The detailed report was expected as part of the package. But his down to earth, honest conversation, about any concerns or items that need to be looked at, gave us great comfort. He was thorough, and he was empathetic to our concerns.
