The schedule changed or cancelled suddenly.
The attention to detail! The "full picture" of Nurse Next Door care in all aspects of a patient's changing needs was extremely helpful. I knew EXACTLY what services I could and would receive and how best to serve my individual needs as a liver transplant patient having heart surgery. There were no surprises. I received constant updates by telephone calls and emails. All information was backed up in written form so that I could review the information. The care aide who stayed with me from 7 pm to 7 am was very professional, on time, self sufficient and well trained in post operative home care. I was able to relax and sleep through the night while Blessing was on duty. All the staff with Nurse Next Door were thorough, personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable.

Great homemade worker;footcare &great sceduling
Overall, the service that we are receiving from Nurse Next Door is exceptionally better than the previous home support services that we had for my mother. Being able to see the monthly and daily schedule of who and what time someone will be arriving is super helpful and allows us to feel more at ease about having new people come over to help. In addition, our care designer Mojgad is very attentive, communicative and patient with us as my mom has very specific needs in terms of her schedule and she has made it more or less possible for us to get sufficient care that we need right now.
However, I only gave the service a 7 because we have had an experience with a home support worker that did not seem very experienced or empathetic. He accidentally stepped on my mother's foot, with his shoes, while trying to lock the breaks on her wheelchair because he forgot to do that before helping her transfer to the bed. He did not seem very apologetic after the incident and sort of just waited quietly until I calmed my mom down. My mom is already constantly in a lot of pain which is noted in her care plan, so I would assume there would be more caution taken when doing common tasks.

I wish to recommend Nurse Next Door for their fantastic and caring services provided for my elderly parents. And the LPNs and Care Aids were so brave and professional during the first waves of COVID in 2020. Than you so much to Veronica Tissera and her wonderful team.

My caregiver would rate a 10 but the reason I gave a 5 is because I have been double billed by NND Delta and have still not received some of the money owed to me. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford this especially as it has taken so long.
The flexibility and availability of the Care Designer to support our families changing needs as my father's illness has progressed.
The biggest reason for this is the front line staff who come to my home. They are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and kind.
The monthly administration fee and communication.
Maria and Courtney are the greatest. They are always on time , friendly and very helpful
Some aids are self starters but for the most part my regular aid while very nice was not. One aid overstepped her role all together.
The schedule sometimes too early, sometimes not confirmed.
