I have met Jade and Naomi in Richmond Sylvan. They are very patient and helpful. They explain everything clearly and they spend lots of time answer ing all my questions. The teacher is very good and my daughter Chantal learns a lot from her.

Customized/personalized to the child. A very light and positive environment conducive to learning. Varied approaches to learning (experiential as well as multimedia) that have kept my daughter engaged. She is super excited about Sylvan sessions and never complains about having to attend.
I also believe that setting goals and having the teachers recognize achievements (such as earning points towards a prize) is a strong motivator. My daughter has her eye on a particularly large squishy and is working towards purchasing it. Very cool.
