Helpful friendly staff
I so appreciate the talent and dedication of the instructors: Jackie, Teresa, Patricia, Angle. I also appreciate the classes offered to seniors. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The facility is always clean. Yes, the building is old and has plumbing issues. We can always work around those.
Suggestion:
When you restripe the parking lot, please, please make the parking spaces a bit bigger. There are so many trucks, large SUVs that spaces often times go unused as someone had to park over the line. Not to mention the damage to the cars when folks can't open their doors to climb into their car. I know this is not a popular suggestion, but with all of the excellent programs and the morning turn out, it is needed.
I feel welcomed by all the friendly staff and members
It is a great price and offers great amenities
I have been going to my local YMCA for many years and now use the pool three times a week. The arthritis class with Pat Wolfe has made dealing with my body better.
All the comings and goings at the Y. Especially water aerobics classes.
I joined the YMCA in April 2025. I have tried many of the group classes and find that I have consistently attended Theresa and mostly Tia's classes the most. Sadly, Theresa is currently injured and Tia will no longer be teaching the Tues and Thurs Pilates classes.
For example today, August 7th I attended Tia's Pilates Mat Beginner class at 7:00 a.m. Unfortunately it was her last day teaching this class which has been very helpful in rebuilding my flexibility and strength after hip surgery. I then took her 8:00 am Barre +Bands Strength class and ended my workout with her 9:00Qigong class. I have found Tia's class goes by quickly because she makes it fun.
I would like to see more Beginning Pilates classes because it helps my body without the pain and strain.
Thank you, First name removed
I like all of the choices for group classes and have met a lot of people and have become friends with many of them. I’ve been going for about 5 years now and it has helped me keep more physically stable.
It’s a great place.
Great variety of activities, instructors, and diverse memberships
Volunteers, staff also friendly and helpful
There are lots of classes for seniors
Great price, friendly, low key atmosphere. Nice seeing all ages.
I love the classes especially the ones taught by Tia
I LOVE water aerobics, water exercise, especially Teresa Lehane! The others are good; but Teresa makes it fun! Great music and spirit.
The professional staff and choices of activities.
Cost is reasonable, welcoming staff, great classes!
Classes
i appreciate the great variety and quantity of classes one can take for all fitness levels and for enjoyment as well.
Front desk staff are unfailingly polite and helpful and the same for those who respond when you call with a question about how to use the app!
I love all of my classes at the Y - from my strength & fitness class with Amy to Chi Gong & Pilates Reformer with Tia. Both are fabulous instructors and work hard to keep the mainly senior class engaged and fit.
Always feel welcome.
Like the aquatic classes
i like that it is cool for seniors to go and be there and that there are alot of classes for seniors to help us out with aging and strength conditioning and mostly too - it is clean and the staff has always been nice...
the coffee can sometimes be a little bit nasty but hey - its free...
The sense of community and friendship.
great instructors, interesting people to meet and classes that fit my needs.
Jen leads a great HIIT class! The class has helped me achieve improved lab results since starting in October 2024.
There are currently Monday and Wednesday evening Strength classes but adding a Thursday class (whether HIIT or something similar) would allow for a day to recover from the Tuesday evening HIIT class. Thank you.
exercise upstairs, and balance training (primarily for elderly) downstairs.
Convenient indoor pool. If you are looking for feedback, though, I'd like to share a few concerns. It would be helpful to have shower caddies in the women's shower area, to have a place to put soap/shampoo brought from home. And some hooks in the shower area (to hang towels closer to the showers). And hooks rather than bars to the ends of the rows of hooks in the changing area (many people leave their towels on the hooks while they swim, so the hooks get filled up). Also, the lifeguards often fully open the front and back doors when they open the pool. I know they do that to clear the humidity, but it's COLD at 5:30am. I wish they only cracked the doors, rather than fully opening them.
Over the past two years I have found that the people ( members and staff) at the Y are very friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoy instructors Ron and Tia. They both are welcoming and knowledgable. I appreciate that there are a variety of classes in the morning. Y membership has been a wonderful benefit take advantage of in retirement.
I like the friendly people who go there, the large pool, the hours and the aquatic director.
Cool and complete facility. Nice people. Nice vibe.

I took the Yin yoga class. It was fantastic. Great instructor and time slot.
