The Lafayette YMCA has so many resources available for keeping fit. The equipment, classes, spaces, and instructors are really wonderful. The members and staff are very friendly and there's a great sense of community. I only joined the Y a few years ago as I had previously been someone who exercised at home or outside. But I've really grown to love the Y and all it has to offer. I'll be a member for life!

Can’t beat the location and distance from my house, but some of the classes are fun and it usually isn’t crowded in the west wing
It has all the equipment I want to use for exercise. I enjoy using the pool to swim laps. The place is clean. The staff is helpful. Good variety of classes to choose from.

Employees are all nice and professional. It's clean and I like the open spaces. I REALLY like the yoga classes I have been taking. The instructor is the best!!! I hope to take more (new) classes this coming year.

I live in Longmont and I love the Longmont facility. I used to live in Erie and use the Lafayette facility I'm a swimmer and I love the pool there in Lafayette.
The staff is wonderful, the aerobic and weight lifting is great, it is not crowded, and when it is the facility is full of wonderful young energy.

Friendly, close to home, has all the equiipment, classes, etc. that I need.
The staf is friendly and helpful, including Jeff, Larissa, Angie, Mary at the front desk. Also Kisa, Terry, Tyler, etc.
The facility is kept clean, including the pool area. The Also offers many programs for the kids, especially in the summer.
The team is amazing. Everyone is upbeat, caring and professional!

Coaches are patient and really are interested in teaching.
I recently attended the Women on Weights 5 week class and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lisa was our instructor and each class was both challenging and fun. I hope to participate in future Women on Weights classes.
I also attend a weekly Pilates Reformer II Class, also instructed by Lisa M. The classes are always varied and challenging. Lisa is a "hands on" instructor, insuring all positions are done correctly.
My husband utilizes the pool and most recently after using his "Smart Start" will also start to explore the weight machines.
Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the "front desk" personnel. They are always so welcoming with their warm smiles :)
Our son is enjoying the youth basketball program. It has been very positive for him. Coach Dan Unger communicates so well and he encourages our kids while still getting them through those crazy 1st and 2nd grade basketball games. He is laying a great foundation for the children. Thank you!

Up until about June, I would say that the facility was spotless. The last few months I have actually started to be grossed out by how "unclean" the place is starting to look. There are many spiderwebs and so much dust. The areas under the racks and machines are not good.

They’ve got state of the art equipment at the gym, a big and cozy swimming pool with well trained lifeguards and then very professional front desk staff.
It’s got an extra space for parking as well accessible to handicapped people too.
