Great atmosphere, great players most of which respect the game and others. I play to be active as I get older and I need an environment with folks that are competitive but also understand we do this for fun. Lafayette YMCA gives me all of this and I have made some great friends in the years I have played at the "Y".

Good balanced league with good natured players. Chance (league director) does an amazing job managing the league, the players and ensuring a balanced and fun league.

Chance does a fantastic job keeping league skill levels appropriate & balancing out teams. It’s a good & fun league to play in.
Great group of players at the Y! Everyone has been very welcoming and friendly, and Chance does a really great job with scheduling and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Chance does a tremendous job running the league. It is competitive, but not overly serious, and I don't get too concerned it will get overly chippy like the last league I played in (in Chicago). Chance goes above and beyond securing referees. scorekeeper(s), subs for teams that are short player or need a fill-in goalie for a week, and generally keeping the league "fair" and somewhat balanced. Thank you for all you do!
Suggestions: Try to get the youth team to swap a late practice for a day other than Monday. The 10:30 game slot 1x per week is manageable, but would be highly preferable on Thursday or Wednesday compared to Monday. Likely not possible but that late time Mondays often leads to a lot of no-shows and a tough week for working adults. Realize this is likely a pipedream but figured I would mention.
