I find it a bit odd that they are just now, after 20+ years, and having sold out to Superior, asking how I would rate them.
Kamps has been stellar.
I'm hearing rumblings about Superior, but so far the takeover has not been negative for us.
Personally, I like a small town company, their employees that we know and the home town folks and service.
Not a fan of call centers in the valley, if not out of state.
It's the way of the world now, 4 companies owing the whole of everything, food, media, agriculture, and I for one, resent it.
We're losing the heart of small business, competition and community.
I am not a fan of the way things are headed, but Superior has been good to us since the switch, so I don't want to give them a negative review because of my view of the current culture in the world.

Excellent, prompt, safe & very efficient delivery of Propane when our tank is running low, ie about 35% - 30% full. Kamps comes out automatically, without having to place a call to come out to fill our propane tank. When I pay the bill over the phone & talk to customer service, the staff is ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY, KIND, CARING & KNOWLEDGEABLE. WE LOVE HAVING KAMPS PROPANE COMPANY AS OUR PROVIDER FOR PROPANE GAS! We continue to recommend Kamps Propane Co. to friends, family, neighbors, or anyone in need of new gas service.! Also love getting discount for having joined "Farm Bureau". Every interaction I have had with Kamps has been a pleasant one from starting service, to getting my tank installed, to receiving my first delivery. All of the people I’ve had the pleasure of speaking/interacting with have been kind and helpful and did an absolutely excellent job at assisting me in every way possible to get my services up and running so I could have heat through this cold winter.

Great service
My wife and I are very pleased with Superior Propane. We scheduled a delivery for our cabin at Bear River and then it snowed over a foot deep making access impossible for a large heavy truck to drive in. We thought for sure no delivery until spring, but to pleasant surprise, they kept us on the schedule and made our delivery last week when the snow had melted enough to allow access.
We greatly appreciate their willingness to provide service.
