Customer Testimonials
The ease of practice and games on the same day.
Structured but not super competitive, perfect for beginners that want to play and have fun
How organized and friendly the staff is! Very professional and quick to help.
I like the coaches. They are a lot more laid back and professional than other programs we've tried.
One bit of feedback would be to get new flags. They are constantly falling off the players and they are not of the quality of the "NFL Flag" programs we've tried. Also the lack of a pass rusher really affects the game negatively in my opinion. Flag should be played 5v5 not 6v6 or 7v7.
Overall it is well ran and professional league.
The kids have a great time. The refs are fantastic too. Like to specifically mention Burns. He is a great referee that is funny, and uses that to further the kids great time while keeping things fair and honest.
well organized and professional coaching staff
I love their inclusiveness, the choices of sports available, and the proximity of the venues. I also like the one-day-a-week commitment.
Rose was the highlight of this season at I9. We'd like to have her as the coach again when we sign up again. She was involved, direct, and attentive to the kids; teaching them correct forms, positions, and encouraged the kids in a positive way.
Thank you Rose! It was nice watching the kids work together and her coaching skills.

Great coaching system and peer group to help students develop their soccer skills.
We have been playing flag football at APEX for years. Coach Tony Butler has been awesome in teaching our son the game of football.
He will be truly missed after this year.
Everything... Ref Burns is the BEST!!!!!
You make an effort to place kids together. Also, practice is the same day as the game.
i9 makes it easy for families to experience new sports or sports that the kids just want to play with their friends. I appreciate that practices are before games. The ref's they hire have been easy to work with and understand they are kids learning new sports. I have never coached but really enjoy getting to see the parents who do coach give the kids understanding, knowledge, and love for a sport.
So easy and the coaches were all great with the kids
Variety of sports played and that it’s part of after school program.
It's well organized and supportive. It's easy to navigate and the location is great. This is my 1st year volunteering as a coach and it has been great. I have gotten lots of support from the league as far as resources and answering questions and the app is pretty helpful.
My kids have been part of i9 Sports South County for about four years and counting. We were initially drawn to the friendly community, which focuses on team building and sportsmanship. Practices and games happen on the same day, making managing schedules easier for families with multiple kids/athletes. The i9 staff and coaches are friendly and bring positive energy to the Field.
i9 offers fantastic instructional sports programs for children. My son has participated in both basketball and soccer, and it’s been a great experience each time. Coach Cameron and his team are amazing—extremely patient, supportive, and encouraging with all the kids. While the programs can be a bit pricey, I believe they’re well worth the investment.
I love and appreciate how much the coaches do for the kids. The amount of encouragement and dedication they put in to the team is amazing.
As a parent who’s been cheering positively from the sidelines for seven plus seasons, I’ve always believed in the values that flag football can teach—teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. This season, though, I’ve noticed a shift: poor sportsmanship, rough play, and a lot of negativity that doesn’t reflect the spirit of flag foot ball. I’m sharing this not to criticize, but because I care. I want all the boys to feel supported, safe, and proud of how they play—not just what the scoreboard says.
I’ve noticed one of the boys on the team playing quite rough—both during games and practices. I understand that intensity can be part of the sport, but some of the behavior feels unsafe and has made a few of us parents uncomfortable.
The coach sees it In plain sight and it hasn’t been addressed. I really appreciate the effort our coach puts into the team, and I know it’s not an easy job. That said, I think having an assistant coach could help keep things balanced and fair—especially when personal relationships, like having a child/family/ friend on the team, might unintentionally affect decisions. Every player deserves equal play time and the chance to grow, and having a second perspective could help make sure that happens consistently.
I hesitated to bring it up sooner because I didn’t want it to affect my son’s playtime or create tension. But after seeing it continue and hearing similar concerns from other parents, I felt it was important to speak up.
Coach Shay does an excellent job teaching the students skills and comes up with good drills to enhance practice.
It was a great experience!
Amazing i9 staff, refs and coaches are fantastic!! Program set up is perfect for younger kiddos!
Fun centered approach to the game. My kids had a lot of fun. Kennedy was an energetic and positive site manager.
I love the messaging from the coaches and leadership. I am very frustrated with the inconsistent application of rules from the referees throughout the game in the finals this year. It took away from the kids' experience and added unnecessary frustration.
Everything the coaches are awesome reffes great.first timer to I 9 great experience v
Good participation, good staff! First time coaching, and there are great coaching resources.
The staff are very nice and encouraging. My son enjoys practicing and playing with the other kids.
Fun! Inclusive! And great staff - especially Todd 😍

We love i9 sports. It provides a place for our kids to play sports without the time commitments of other sports. It also provides a place for kids to try out different sports. The community is supportive and encouraging. I wish we'd started when our kids were smaller.
