It’s a great gym with great staff. It’s always clean and comfortable, even for my wife and mom, who typically wouldn’t like working out in a public gym. Joel, Mr. Savage, and other friendly gym floor employees really make it feel like home.
The kids’ sports classes, however, kind of suck. When Allison or someone good is running them, they’re awesome, but too often, they’d be kind of disorganized with random people running them so we stopped signing our daughter up.
The workout area is light and bright during the day and you can see outside as a result of floor to ceiling windows, and the area is not cramped. Pickleball is available; however, the app to sign up can be buggy (can't get in; error message) and demand is very strong so I often cannot get into a session. In addition, parking is available close by and is free.
I like the offerings, the staff, and the facility. It's a happy place of community, fitness and fun, and does so much to help people in the area, whether or not they are Y members.

I think it's important to share this: I am increasingly hearing concerns from other Y users about the difficulty of securing spots in sessions, including yoga, barre, and of course, pickleball. It might help if the Y publishes/ shares how it programs group exercise and at what point it will add to or change its offerings.
the staff is knowledgeable and friendly
cleanliness
I absolutely love the kids' zone at the gym! It’s such a game changer that I can drop off my children while I focus on my workout—no extra fees to worry about, unlike other places! The gym itself is fantastic—clean and has all the equipment I need for my workouts.

The Summit YMCA offers great facilities, people, and community service.
Friendly staff, great offering of classes, open to suggestion to ideas for new classes
Mostly, I go there to swim. I love that there are two pools and there is sunlight as well. I like the new renovated fitness options as well. Only thing i'm not too excited about is trying other figure out the classes and when to try them.
The YMCA is a great gym and a great community for the whole family
Great facility and personable staff.
highly recommend
Hannah from the KidZone is the best. My children love how she plays with them, and my husband and I appreciate her interest in the children. Every time we bring our sons John and Eli to the Summit KidZone, she greets them by name. She has gotten to know them by interacting with them and monitoring their behavior while my husband and I exercise. Whenever I see Hannah in the KidZone, I feel confident about my children's well-being and safety. She's a gem!
I love how spacious the facility is
Friendly staff and clean facilities.
Great classes
Very comfortable environment
Like the gym area, but more people need to wipe off machines when done using them. Other than that everything good.

The staff is friendly, the space is clean and they have a lot of nice equipment!
