I was perturbed when my new customer term ended and I found out when I was surprised by the new bill with the steep increase to market rate. I filled out a survey expressing my disappointment. I received a call from Rachel today in response to my earlier survey. Rachel apologized for the lapse in communication and discussed options going forward. She was friendly, helpful and professional. She is reissuing the recent market rate bill to the fixed rate amount which I enrolled in today. I appreciate the personal service and have enjoyed excellent delivery and service from Downeast/Superior. Thank you Rachel - great job turning a customer’s disappointment to satisfaction!

Recent service calls have been excellent. Unfortunately your new call center approach to customer service has been very unsatisfactory. Hard to understand the agent I spoke with. and was unable to get information I needed to get ready for the closing of the sale of our home. Agent did not or would not connect me to a supervisor who probably could have helped me.
I liked the company in the past when it was more personable. So mixed report: A for service call; F for telephone customer service. Too bad. Bigger is certainly not better. Sorry to have to let you know, but cannot recommend your company as a whole any more.
