Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.
We’re been involved in the YMCA’s sports for the past 5 years. I love the variety of offered sports as my children range from different ages and different interests. There is always something that they can get involved in. The sports director, D’Quan Ruth, has been an amazing addition to the Jorgensen YMCA. He encourages kids to get involved and ensures they all have a great experience in their sports. He also communicates with the parents well. We recommend the Jorgensen YMCA sports to all we can.

Super friendly, helpful people. A nice variety of equipment. I really like the EGym, but I don’t like having to wait forever to use it as it is usually very busy and crowded where it is located. It would be nice if there were two sets of this equipment and a few more different machines to go with it.
I do find the main gym area with the elliptical machines are located that the air circulation needs to be ramped up. Not only is the gym too hot in general, but add the body odor as well as all the different perfumes people use it is a bit too much. Perhaps much larger fans could,be place around and lower the temps of the gym would be an improvement.

We've been Y members since moving back to Fort Wayne in 2017. Our kids have grown up in child watch and we consider many team members part of our extended family. The facilities are always clean and equipment is managed well. I tell anyone who asks, that the Y is the best overall gym membership in town.

I like the Enhanced Fitness and Silver Sneakers classes the I participate in and love Cindy, our instructor. The entire Y staff is inviting, friendly, and informative. Additionally, the facility is always clean and well maintained. You couldn't ask for more!
Sunday, I took my grandson for his swiming lesson. He had missed a class so Peyton his instructor went above and beyond to give a lesson outside of the regular hours so he could have his class. My wonderful grandson is 4 years old, and has autism. Staying focused is sometimes difficult for him. Payton was intramental in getting him back on track and was extremly kind, compassionate and most of all patient with him. Thank you Jorgensen YMCA for employing such a wonderful person. She is an extremly valuable employee and example to other instructors. I hope to see more programs that are geared toward children with autism.
