The equipment is all very nice and well maintained
Daily water aerobics
Friendly, workout variety, classes.
Good class instructors. pickleball courts outside are great!
The Taylor Family YMCA has the most helpful staff and the building is clean and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The only thing I would like to see is a connection between the main building and the pool building where you are not required to walk outside to get to the pool.
We had a wonderful welcome and tour by Maria Pilar. My husband Greg and I enjoyed lane swimming on Monday and I was happy to join the Chair Pilates class yesterday.
A very friendly setting. It has most of what I need.
Up to date gym equipment. Friendly staff.
I loved it! I appreciate the no phone on the machines policy a lot!
I'll be back!
Thanks!
I enjoy the Thrive classes that keep me active and moving. All the instructors are excellent!
Front desk friendliness
Staff on the floor are ready to answer questions
Locker area is pretty well kept
I would like for you to bring back the Thursday Zumba class to the Taylor.
I realize that attendance may have been low but this may improve if you were able to offer the class in the studio. Janine Santos departure has made a negative impact on attendance for Zumba classes. Her enthusiastic style of teaching is definitely missed.
Taylor, Linda & Amber have consistently provided great service and always w/a smile! I appreciate them and their hard work.
Many different types of exercise programs .
Great instructors .
Great locations for me .
Friendly staff.
The people!!!
Equipment fine, like the big classroom area, indoor track fine, staff friendly.
Could improve on: teaching people how to properly use machines. Also, in the afternoons in the big classroom on second floor, the work out room is hardly ever used and the video work out is very, very loud. To use the room for anything you have to wear ear plugs as it is so loud.
GREAT PLACE AND PEOPLE!
MANY DIFFERENT CLASSES AND A GREAT POOL
Great options for morning classes and wonderful instructors !
The pool, my favorite, in the whole Triangle!
Year round pool
Am concerned about the volume of members and if expansion of the Y is keeping up w/ the #'s joining. Also, would be nice for one of the TV's in the elliptical area to be on something other than sports or news. Maybe HGTV or something else. Thank you.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lucas, who runs the Thrive program is so much fun. Love the trips!
Gerald is the best at engaging the kids. This is our first basketball season and sports season with the YMCA, and my 6yo boy was NOT excited, but has come around and is now excited to go to practice and games!
Front desk staff are friendly and racquet ball courts are great. Handle though in court 2 is broken.
The staff and group fitness instructors at challenging and kind. The classes have a good capacity. The facility is nice.
I mostly select your trips
Everything
I love the Taylor Y! I love being able to use the pool all year round, but especially in the summer. I enjoy the Aqua fitness classes, the excellent instructors and bringing my grandchildren (also Y members) to swim during Family swim. The Thrive classes, especially chair Pilates and yoga are terrific and also have excellent instructors. I appreciate the emphasis on helping those in our community who need help and the impact of the Y on so many children.
My insurance will no longer cover the cost of my Y membership, but it’s important enough to me that we’ll find a way to fit it in the budget!
The staff and the members are very friendly.
