I enjoy swimming 2 or 3 times a week in the covered dome pool. It feels like the outdoors all year long. It is also a treat to sip a cup of hot spiced tea in the main lobby while I wait for my husband to finish his sauna and steam room, which he loves after a workout.

I just joined a couple weeks ago. I mostly wanted the use of the pool for lap swimming, and it's been delightful (especially now that the furnace is up and running). Everyone is so nice and helpful and at the times I go, it has not been crowded. I haven't used any other parts of the facility yet, but I plan to. So far, I'm very pleased.
The gym is very clean and enjoyable!
The thrive instructors are absolutely amazing-especially Romaine, Nan, and Donna.

There is lots to like, but this survey doesn't let me feed back negative comments, so I am going to put them here.
That signup system is TERRIBLE! Many times people come to class anyway without signing up, and its especially crappy during Jan and Feb when the 21 bikes get booked very quickly. I went to class recently, I had registered, and when I showed up (admittedly 2 minutes late,) and I checked in at the kiosk, THERE WERE NO BIKES. Someone was on my bike, but I was shut out. If you are going to have a system, it needs to be enforced. Also- get one where we can have ASSIGNED bikes, Assigned spaces. AND penalize people who do not show up. OR just get rid of it altogether. We were fine before COVID without a check-in, and we would be fine now. Why have sign-ups for Gym 3? There is plenty of equipment, and the room is HUGE and can take 60 people. I also do not like that only people who set alarms for 46 hours in advance and these classes consistently are impossible to take: Yoga, Pilates and Barre.
Either increase the offerings of these classes, or just go to first come first served. There was never a need for this and now its extremely frustrating. MORE classes on Sundays, and MORE cycling classes in general.

The last few years, most of my Taylor Y experience has been using the pickleball courts. Sadly, the staff has shown little effort or interest the courts or our enjoyment of this facility. When I arrive at 8 a.m., we frequently find the courts covered with debris and spend time clearing them ourselves. My past requests about having a staff member sweep the courts on a regular basis has not received a response. I frequently find that park and town facilities are better kept up than the Y facilities.
We have had a membership for over twenty-five years. I learned that, in the past, the Y honored Silver Sneakers programs, which we have available to us through our health insurance coverage. I have never received an explanation of why the Y terminated its relationship with that program. Further, our family dues were increased this year to more than what we had paid before we became eligible for the senior discount. It appears that the Y is more interested in receiving our dues than maintaining a good relationship with us. I plan to look into alternative facilities this year that will honor our Silver Sneakers membership.

I love your location and drive farther to go there. It's clean, well run and I really value that you don't allow people to camp out on machines with their phone. People are there to work out and it shows. Thanks a ton! Name removed

Indoor pool is my happy place. It brings me JOY to swim year round! I just wish the facilities repairs were accomplished in a timely manner.

The water aerobics with Katherine is fantastic! I haven’t tried anybody else, but I do go on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I usually take early morning group fitness classes and love all the early AM instructors - they’re fantastic!! I also swim laps on a regular basis and love having access to a great pool year-round.
I really enjoy how family oriented it is, I can work out and know my kids are cared for and having fun. The workers are all very kind and helpful. Love the pool and being able to have laps available most of the time
