The facility is very clean and the wellness area has alot of equipment to exercise.
I love the staff who greet me every morning with a smile and are so helpful whenever I have a question. They are always happy to help. I also love the building and spaces to work out, 2nd floor strength building space and also the aerobic machines are awesome, full of natural light and opportunity to see the outdoors while working out. I love other members. There is often big smiles and friendly hellos.

I love the facility itself, but the tour that we got when I stopped in prior to starting the Women on Weights program (this is not my home location) was fantastic. Annie has been a great teacher and the program has definitely made me more comfortable about using the weight equipment, although I haven’t done it yet outside of class. I am actually coming back there tomorrow to take a TRX class from her. The facility is stunning, and I love that there is an elementary school attached!

The Southeast Raleigh YMCA is like a family. A family with grandparents that are really into exercising and tell their grandchildren, “if I can do it at my age then you don’t have any excuses.” With a mix of admiration and guilt you go workout and realize grandma is always right…no excuses. Thanks Y family.

The diversity in staffing and gym-goers.
The Southeast Y is so friendly. I get the feeling we are one small but mighty community of people who embrace the environment of people and place at the Southeast Y. I would encourage everyone to take a class and see what I mean.
The staff treats me and my son like we matter. Some of the other locations don't seem as friendly to the kids.
I appreciate that it is not too crowded with a soothing atmosphere.

It’s clean. Really clean, not too crowded and has the heated outdoor pool. It’s just a little far from my home.
