Member Testimonials
This place has good classes, great trainers, and a wide variety of equipment to use. I would like to see more eliptical machines as those fill up.quickly.
Staff is very friendly and attentive. The members are very friendly. It's feels like a family atmosphere
Great facility and nice staff
I LOVE everything about the Y.
Friendly, caring staff. Cleanliness of the facility. The equipments rarely breaks down.
Instructors are the best. Don't like no heater for pool when we get out during cold weather. Don't like outdoor furniture not clean each day before pool opens. Especially during pollen season.Don't like pool bathroom dirty, no paper towels, handicap bathroom door doesn't lock, and pool should be vacuumed daily to prevent falls.
I am a regular at the aqua aerobics classes and do try to get into the Thrive classes but they are always booked and some too early in the morning.
I enjoy the Y have made friends and the staff is exceptional. Most of the instructors are very good to excellent except the yoga classes. I wish there were more Thrive classes that were centered on Pilates and yoga.
It would be very positive and I hear this from many members if you had classes going later in the day say 1 or 2. Many of us are retired and not that interested in early classes.
During the winter with the aquarium classes starting at 10:15 is too early weather wise.you would have more people if held later because it is typically warmer.
The aquarium classes should all be like David’s where you do burn calories and get your heart rate up. We are there to exercise and at least one instructor does a dance type classes where most people do their own thing because it doesn’t work in the water.
I mean these comments to be constructive. I hear exactly what I am saying from multiple people on a regular basis not just a few people complaining.
I hope you get some later classes, get David to encourage the other instructors to do aquarium aerobics more like he does and there is another young woman who does a great job I just can’t remember her name at this moment she has young children if that helps.
All in all I do enjoy the Y and encourage you to keep improving. Thank you for listening
The PEOPLE! The sense of community and feeling like an extended family is one reason I enjoy the Y!
Classes and people are great.
It’s too bad the gym is situated over the classrooms. People seem to deliberately drop very heavy weights which is very unnerving. The whole building shakes.
Classes are great. Staff is friendly and helpful
I would like to be able to bring more than one guest per adult at a time. I’ve had inconveniences before with this matter. But overall I’ve been happy with all of my other experiences
Staff is fantastic
Great classes

When is pool open?
The staff, the facility, the caretakers - also I love walking the pond which is nice to have as an option vs being inside.

The YMCA center of EastTriangle is very clean and comfortable. Personel are very nice and professional.
I love the different classes that are available.
The classes and friendly staff
Convenient location and hours. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
The staff is very friendly, and the facility is very well equipped
What I like most about the East Triangle YMCA After School experience is that they are truly working with me to provide the best care for both of my sons who have an ADHD diagnosis. I really appreciate the level of support and communication from the staff. Mr. Grizzly is top tier—he helps my son feel comfortable, builds trust, and consistently keeps me informed about both the good days and the more challenging ones.
I also value that the program provides a safe, structured environment where children can learn, grow, and build social skills through activities and guidance.
My one concern would be that some of the younger staff members could be more mindful of how they communicate with the children. There have been instances where language used was not appropriate, and my son shared that a counselor was a bit abrasive and dismissed him when he tried to report another child being unkind on the playground. That experience is unacceptable.
I believe additional training could be helpful to ensure all counselors are equipped with strategies to appropriately redirect challenging behaviors while maintaining a supportive and respectful tone with the children.
I love working out at East Triangle YMCA, The whole place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and really cares about your well being. Always helpful in any situation.
Instructors are the best, knowledgeable and explain every move, correct your positions etc.
There is an abundance of fitness classes for any age or condition.
And it is a great place to meet friends while getting in shape.
The room with exercise equipment is also great and plenty of new machines.
The best place to visit and join.
Great variety of classes for seniors. I would like to see a Zumba gold class offered
Nicer facilities and friendly staff
Close to home within walking distance.
The complete facility. The quality and variety of the classes, and the support from the staff and instructors. The opportunity to meet people and the sense of community.
My one hesitation about recommending the Y to some people I know is the expense. While I believe I am getting good value for my dues and I am happy to pay them, I can imagine that some folks might find them expensive and would wonder if the could take enough advantage of the facilities and offerings to justify the cost.
Thanks for what you do.
Variety of classes
Friendly staff
Feels like happy place
How amazing the staff is and how clean the facilities are!

Great staff, lots of exercise options
